24th Apr 2026 (10 days ago)I was working 3rd party with a lady that has purchased a property from Gower Dawes estate agent in chadwell-st-Mary. I cannot praise Jo enough, she went above and beyond, and I mean above and beyond. I would not go anywhere else to sell or purchase a property. We had a few problems along the way, but Jo was onto them non stop, along with the solicitors. I would like to thank you for being so persistent, yet reassuring all the way and helping me guide my sister-in-law through the whole process. The best people to deal with, whilst getting the reassurance you need at a time of stress and worry.
1st May 2026 (3 days ago)I come home to find my garden gate broken. They came onto my property without permission. Worked on the neighbours house upstairs setup scaffolding and took it down. The agent should have contacted me if they need access. Really frustrated as i come back home from work to find my property damaged. You cannot come onto my land or property without permission. Their phone lines closed so i now have to go through the night with entry points for thieves to access my property property

From the very start, she was professional, knowledgeable, and was quick in answering queries about the process. What really stood out against other agents was the non- pushy approach before we decided to proceed, and their marketing strategy. Jess secured 6 viewings within the first couple of days, which led to us having a choice of offers. Thanks to Jess’ negotiations, our home sold considerably above the asking price, and we were confident that all the right questions had been asked. We were happy that Jess was contactable for any queries, especially as it was our first time selling a property, and she was able to give advice about the property we purchased. Thank you, Jess. I’ve been searching for around 18 months now, and during that time Oscar has been one of the few agents who has stayed in touch consistently without being pushy. He has mainly been in contact with my mum rather than me directly, but even so, it’s been clear that he’s taken the time to understand exactly what I’m looking for and only reaches out when something relevant comes up, which makes a big difference. Compared to other agents I’ve spoken to, who often ignore my criteria, Oscar has been far more attentive and considerate. Even without a completed purchase, his communication and approach have really stood out. A genuinely helpful and professional experience.

After a tenant dropped out at the last minute, Elle had it back in the market within a day and let by the end of the following working day! She has really taken the stress out of the process and I am grateful for her strong communication skills - even when there was nothing update, she has let me know, which I found really useful (rather than just wondering what was going on). 27th Mar 2026 (5 weeks ago)THE RUDEST ESTATE AGENT I HAVE EVER COME ACCROSS IN MY LIFE! Usually you would expect to be welcomed to to a property you are looking to buy, invited to park on the drive so you can see what it would be like to live there. Not Claudia Romano, who arrives 1 minute before the appointment, shouting out of her car door, "I'M THE ESTATE AGENT SO I GET TO PARK THERE!". And then, once we have driven around and finally found somewhere to park, has the cheek to tell us that we're late and we will not have a full appointment - when we were there first! Prospective sellers - avoid at all costs!!!
14th Apr 2026 (20 days ago)We haven't had to go through the nightmare of moving house for over forty years but we survived the emotional roller coaster this time round thanks to Stanton Hockett. Not easy for two eighty year olds I must admit who simply want to go live near their daughter up north! We approached the move with trepidation but their approach from the outset was totally re-assuring and empathetic. Tom started the ball rolling with his no fuss approach and we then graduated to the big guns, Brad & Gavin, after they found us a young couple to buy our treasured family home. They might have been a dating agency so suited to us were our young buyers. As apparently often occurs our journey through the legal processes to exchange and completion took us between peaks of elation to valleys of frustrated despair and back again but they were there to support us when we needed it. Thank you Tom and Lewis, thank you Gavin and most of all thank you Brad for your impeccable service to us in the sales progression stage. We are on our way now and feeling a whole lot better about our future.

Communication was excellent throughout, and any issues on any side of the chain were dealt with quickly, calmly and effectively. Moving home is often described as one of life’s most stressful experiences, but Stewart genuinely took the stress out of it for us. It was a real pleasure to work with someone so professional, proactive and reassuring — we always felt confident knowing everything was in safe hands and that Stewart had complete command over proceedings. Thank you so much for making what could have been a difficult process such a positive one.
