13th Mar 2026 (29 days ago)As first time buyers we first looked at houses with Connells, they were professional and knowledgeable on the properties. We had found another home with another estate agent but unfortunately that had fallen through last minute. So we start looking again. We found a lovely house with Connells, we were welcomed by Simon. He was very helpful. We told him our situation and once our offer was accepted he was keen to get us in quick. Any enquiries were quickly resolved and chased the seller if needed. Very pleased with their service. Highly recommended.
20th Mar 2026 (22 days ago)I bought a small property 13 years ago to rent out and just sold it using the same agent. I went back to Your Move because they were the most proactive of the Bedford agents back then and evidently nothing's changed. Friendly service from all the staff and Chris the manager was really helpful, and kept us updated at every turn. Start to finish the whole thing took 3 months. Couldn't be happier.

11th Mar 2026 (4 weeks ago)Our experience selling with them was more than disappointing from start to finish. They are rude, condescending and bad professionals to the point that I was tempted more than once to pull off in order to avoid them getting any money from me. Tom tried once to convince me in the rudest way, as if I didn’t understand plain English, that I had to hire an architect and spend thousands of pounds in order to get the second floor of my property regularised when the property was build that way in 1853. One call from me to Building Control and the issue was solved. On one occasion Tom called saying the buyers wanted to come on the next day to take measures of the place. We accepted. On the day of the visit nobody came and no one contacted us. When we called to the office Tom was on his day off and David said “let me see what happened and I’ll come back to you”. We didn’t have any news back. Weeks after, when I met the buyers in person, I learned that they never requested the visit in first place. I could relate many other negative experiences to illustrate how incompetent and bad professional Tom is, but I will just summarise by saying that I would stay away from them at all costs.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

From selling my house in July 25 to completion of sale in January 26, Rob and Sharon supported me every step of the way through a very complicated and stressful experience. Rob and Sharon were always available to talk to and would call me to explain every step. I cannot recommend them highly enough!!

17th Nov 2025 (21 weeks ago)They didn’t sell my house. I had to pull them off and go for a PTX as they began to give me anxiety. They didn’t keep me up to date and when it came to speaking to my PTX company they gave inaccurate information which affected my valuation. They seem like lovely people but I don’t think I will recommend them to anyone as there were just too many issues that I felt I didn’t have to deal with.
