It was an extremely complicated sale taking many months to complete which Ross managed in a professional and dedicated manner at all times. He went above and beyond to get our business sold right from the beginning with the presentation of our property and his continued professionalism. I will be forever thankful for having someone I could contact to discuss and implement all that was required to get our business sold. I can throughly recommend and am so impressed with the very thorough service we received selling our family business through this company. 13th Oct 2024 (6 mo. ago)We would highly recommend Country Properties, Shefford, to anyone looking to sell their home. The whole process was exceptionally well managed from our initial sale, right through to our exchange of contracts. The whole Country Properties team were polite and informative when we called and always followed through on calls backs and actions as promise. Steph and the team were instrumental in keeping our chain informed and worked tirelessly to move the chain forwards. Steph and her team made such an impact on our chain that others in the chain commented on their excellent service and hard work! Moving house is never easy, but I can honestly say that the support we received from Country Properties got us through the process and we are extremely grateful. Country Properties and the whole team were by far the best estate agent we have ever used and we cannot recommend them highly enough.

The job took approx 4 months from reporting to completion but has now been done due to Tamara consistently chasing the company. She kept me informed on progress either via email or phone calls. 3rd Apr 2025 (14 days ago)Initial engagement was strong - well prepared for the valuation having produced data on similar property sales to give me a steer on what price range to expect. The quality of the photographs was disappointing - no use of drone technology and the absence of video or virtual tour videos did not help with viewing numbers. I would expect a professional photographer to be taking the photographs in hindsight. Communication was very good once engaged - bi-weekly calls to update on progress. Regular amendments were made to the picture sets and social media advertising was used too. The market was difficult when trying to sell our property but I felt as if local area knowledge was limited to our primary contact and that viewings that did not involve the primary contact were less engaging for those viewing. Our primary contact was very good and did a good job.

10th Apr 2025 (7 days ago)An all round great experience selling my house with Glenn and the team at Urban & Rural. From the first meeting I was put an ease and the whole process was clearly explained. Before my house went on the market the sales team visited the house so they could meet me, the house, and ask any questions so they are fully briefed for viewings - this was a great touch. The team did a brilliant job fielding double digit viewings in two days, and extracting multiply offers from potential buyers, putting me in a very strong position. From the house going on the market to a sale being agreed was less than a week, which was better than I could ever have expected. I look forward to working with their in-house conveyancing expert to see the sale process through to completion.

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Thank you to Daniel and the team ,and I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone who wants professional help to sell there property. A 5 star rating, for a 5 star service. Stephen Grant

From start to finish they were very helpful and created an attractive, professional presentation of the property. They handled viewings efficiently and communicated well once we had accepted an offer and were moving through the chain.
