They generated loads of viewings, kept us updated with regular communication after every viewing and ultimately have helped us get our house offer during a pretty slow market and time of the year. I couldn't fault Athertons and would 100% recommend and use again in the future. They are certainly moving with the times with having apps that allow you to track the stats of your property viewings and communicate via phone and whatsapp easily which helps if your working full time but want to remain in the know.

I have had 4 calls in 2 days from this company asking why I chose a different agent, I’ve been very polite and spoken with each person. Don’t know why they keep calling me it’s almost like nobody in the branch communicates with each other! I’ve asked them twice now to stop calling me, any chance of me putting my house up with them is gone!

I had my property on the market with PB for 3 months, in that time I had 2 viewings. one day I get a hand written letter from Adam at Palmer Snell trying to get my business, I called Adam straight away and secured a package that worked for both of us. Before my property even went live with them, I had Shahob and Anastasia calling everyone they could think of and subsequently arranged 4 viewings within 2 days, one of which resulted in an offer today. It is still early days, but I have every confidence in the staff here that this will go through, or if it doesn't, then I know they will find someone else very quick. I wish I went here in the first place, they have been incredible from the start! I am soooooo grateful for that little hand written note through my door! Thank you all :)

Also even when i explained regarding my interest in the property there was no valid response. Would never recommend. ????????????

11th Nov 2022 (2 years ago)We were recommended Fahrens by friends who had used them before. Fahrens, especially Zak who we sold our property with were absolutely fantastic. We sold our flat and bought a house at the height of the pandemic in 2020/2021 with a newborn baby, such a stressful time but made less so by Zak. He was always there to answer questions, emails etc and was a great support. All the team at Fahrens are so lovely and never make you feel rushed when calling. They even helped us out when there was a leak in the flat above ours whilst we were on holiday by going to the flat on a Sunday to investigate. I can’t thank Fahrens and Zak enough for everything they did for us at that time. They sent our newborn a lovely card and present when she was born too. Estate agents that go above and beyond!

27th Oct 2024 (5 weeks ago)I recommend staying away from these agents. Was dealing with Daryl the manager. Little to no communication at all and when yes, they were dishonest. They just tried holding my listing as long as they could by pretending they have a buyer. I finally listed elsewhere with an honest and reputable agency and got a buyer in two weeks.

31st Oct 2024 (5 weeks ago)Meyers were excellent throughout the whole experience of selling my 1st home. They had lined up several possible buyers and managed to get slightly more than what I thought the house would sell for. Even though my ex wife and I were selling we wasn't in the best place towards one another but Meyers kept up brilliant communication between both of us and we're patient with us both and helped see it through.
5th Jul 2024 (21 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
