Communication was clear and timely, and when issues arose elsewhere in the chain, Martin was proactive in chasing and keeping everyone aligned. On top of that he accommodated multiple visits after our offer was accepted while we checked a few things at the house. He struck exactly the right balance between being supportive and pragmatic, which made a real difference during a complex transaction. Supported by a brilliant team at the office, everyone at Ashton White were a pleasure to deal with and I’d happily recommend.

Scott and his team were always very engaging, attentive and made sure our input was taken into consideration throughout this tedious process. Communication with Fenn Wright was excellent. 22nd Dec 2025 (7 weeks ago)We have completed requested works on rental properties . Works were approved and they have not paid for these any of these works. Nick has promised many times that payment will be made and up to now, we have not received any payment. CONTRACTORS BE AWARE do not do any work for this company unless PAYMENT Is made in advance. Do the landlords of these properties know what is going on? We work for many letting agents and this is the only one that that does not pay .

5th Dec 2025 (9 weeks ago)We had a great experience as a seller using Douglas Allen in Billericay and would choose them again if we were ever selling a home in the area. After the first sale fell through, Oscar more than earned his commission with the number of viewings he conducted on our behalf. He was informative, friendly and polite without being pushy. He remembered all of the points we wanted him to touch on about our property and had a really easy and charming manner with the viewers. Estate agents have quite a bad reputation, some of the deservedly so! But Oscar, Brad, Katie, and Ryan have very much changed our perception of agents in general and it was a pleasure dealing with them. If you are selling a property in the Billericay area call Douglas Allen and ask for Oscar!

30th Sep 2025 (19 weeks ago)I truly couldn’t recommend Nick & Holly enough, we had our house on the market for 10 weeks with another agent after a recommendation form somebody, although we had used Patrick James to buy our house before by week two of being with the other agents we were kicking ourselves by not going back with them straight from the off! After being in contact we decided Patrick James were the only way forward and low and behold our house was sold within a week of it being on the market with them, through their own hard work of caring and making the effort to sell for us. They are always there when you need them especially in the nervy few days before exchange. They truly are a very well run small business and very lovely couple to go with it. Keep at it guys, honestly as we have said before we are very grateful, and would recommend you a million times over.

20th Jan 2026 (20 days ago)We have had such a great sales process. The last time we moved was 16 years ago and its all definitely changed since then. The whole experience has been so good from Ellis coming out to us and explaining it all to us, listening to what we needed. Tia came round and took all the pictures which looked great. The house was listed on Thursday and they had 11 appointments booked and 5 in reserve before the end of the day. Tia dealt with all the viewings on the Saturday, from that we had 5 offers straight away. When we accepted the offer Zoe took over the sales progression, she was fantastic she set up a WhatsApp group with all the other agents in the chain to get regular updates from everyone. She kept in contact with our solicitors and kept us updated too. Thank you all for your help!! x
