Metropole Properties exceeded our expectations. From day one, they took charge providing guidance and regular updates without me having to chase for information. 26th Jan 2026 (9 weeks ago)Really strange and rude estate agent, walked in with my wife a few weeks ago and spoke to an elderly man Jonathan who manages this place. He was extremely rude and judged us on our appearance - we weren't dressed like "Hampsteaders" and said he'd follow up with properties and never did. I work in Private Equity alongside my wife, we would have happily closed on a place and made them a good cut. We will go somewhere else.

18th Jul 2021 (4 years ago)Having shopped here over many years, I recommended you to a friend whom I accompanied and was appalled by the lack of interest we received. I had to ask for assistance and upon the purchase by my friend of a sofa the person concerned showed little interest in the sale and sat behind her computer for the duration. My friend who purchased the sofa says he will not be returning to your shop. He was also quoted one price for delivery of £50 which on delivery was £85.

21st Mar 2026 (8 days ago)They only manage to get one viewing and said that there are a lot of flats for sale. When valuing the flat they gave very different speech. I would not recommend them.
2nd Sep 2021 (4 years ago)Marie went more than the extra mile in ensuring a successful sale. Despite many twists and turns before the sale was complete she met every challenge professionally and rapidly. Couldn't have asked more or got better anywhere else.
27th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)Thought they were great to begin with then realised they were not! If you're thinking of renting a residential property from them consider if you'd like to live with a hole in your kitchen roof for weeks without being fixed, if you want your deposit properly protected in a scheme and if you want your deposit back without taking action against them. Seriously incompetent staff, rude and disrespectful. The flat we rented was one of 3, "refurbished" (if you can call it that) office buildings (Oh yeah, they take their commercial buildings and flip them haha!) with what I am guessing is no insulation, black mould throughout and a roof that held 4 inches+ of water which caused a leak and the roof to be taken out, then left. I had to fight for my deposit back because the idiot of an estate agent that went on holiday didn't send the new tenant a contract. No cover, no communication. All lacking in any kind of critical thinking. The list goes on.... AVOID!
29th Sep 2025 (5 mo. ago)Recently brought a property through Charringtons and I genuinely found them to be very polite, professional, honest and informative throughout the process. I speak as someone with above average knowledge of the industry and they provided exactly what I requested or were transparent when it wasn't possible along with reasoning and proposed work around. I would also say that they got the balance right between advocating for myself as the buyer, the seller and getting the sale over the line with expediency. There were multiple issues with this exchange that needed ironing out and they were able to effectively liaise between the buyer and seller to attain progress and at no extra cost to the seller via paying for another seller's pack. They were also able to assist with myself getting the keys to the garage before exchange completion which was a bit of a life saver as we were getting turfed out of our current property the week before. They were also able provide updates more promptly than our solicitors, particularly at the end as we were waiting for tenants occupying the property to vacate, which I believe they were managing also and assisted in finding them another property. I would also add that we settled on a price below the (high) asking price but still reasonable for the seller IMO (I feel I could have low balled in the current market if I was able to be sufficiently patient, so what we settled in I'd say is slightly above the market price). So a special thank you to Michael & Co at Charringtons and I would highly recommend to anyone buying/selling/letting/renting. Plus it helps that they are all good/friendly people too.

He was attentive, professional and knowledgeable and helped us in all things to do with our commercial lease. He assisted us in our rent review and other matters. Best service

When we came to sell our main home, his firm was the obvious choice. Cody was the lead agent for selling our house. We were selling in a difficult market, nevertheless Cody and team ensured that the property had good coverage, drawing from their large client base. They handled viewings professionally and with consideration to us. We were delighted when they found us a strong purchaser. They put in an enormous amount of work up to exchange and beyond. They handled issues that arose and we felt informed and supported throughout. They were able to provide solutions to concerns that arose in what was a difficult transaction.
