30th Dec 2025 (18 weeks ago)My experience with Gadsby Nichols during my recent sale was extremely positive. Communication between me and the buyer was handled by Liz and Trish. They helped move the process along and kept me informed of any progress. When I was let down by a removal firm at the last minute, they stepped in quickly and were able to recommend a reliable alternative. The team were supportive without being overbearing, which helped make the whole thing far less stressful, particularly as I was in the middle of a chain. Any questions or issues were dealt with promptly, and the team were knowledgeable and professional. I would be happy to recommend them to others.

11th Apr 2026 (26 days ago)All good until the tenancy ends. I never was a tenant to create problems or miss payments and always had a open conversation with landlords, agencies. When everything ended (not because of me but because of the landlord) half of the deposit was deducted. Raised a dispute and after almost 5 months since I moved out I got my money back minus a small fee but not almost 50% of the depoait as Gascoine and Halman claimed. Greedy is a nice term to describe them. Make sure you add everything in your entry report take pictures of every single hair dust as they will use everything to claim as much as they can from your deposit.

1st Feb 2026 (14 weeks ago)We had an excellent experience with Derby Property 4U for more than three years as tenants. As international students on UK student visas, we faced challenges renting a house because we hadn’t yet arrived in the UK to complete the Right to Rent checks. The team was incredibly patient and flexible, allowing us to proceed with the tenancy and arrange the necessary documentation after our arrival. We landed in Derby after 10pm on our arrival day, and Ken went above and beyond by coming out that very night to handle our check-in smoothly, such great service when we were tired from travel! After our initial year in the house, we made a transition to a smaller apartment seamless and hassle-free. Throughout our long-term tenancy, everything was straightforward and reliable. I highly recommend Derby Property 4U. Thank you to the whole team, particularly Ken!

20th Feb 2026 (11 weeks ago)I wish I had instructed Paul to sell my property initially because it had languished with 2 well known agents for Months without any sensible sale plan/updates. Paul offered straight talking, no nonsense advice. We had an offer within days of the viewings. Go with an agent who is as committed as you are to sell and will add valuable insight to the process. You won't be disappointed with Paul.

The marketing, viewings and negotiation process were handled professionally and diligently, with some delays and complications worked through well to a positive closure. Our contact Charly Twigg is a credit to the company and deserves high praise for the way she handled and resolved the difficulties we encountered. We will recommend Staves to anyone selling.
27th Feb 2026 (10 weeks ago)May have been the market conditions but minimal viewings were booked. Many of which were no shows or cancellations on the day. Not the fault of the estate agent, however there was no adjustment to the online profile at any point to refresh the advert. Nothing posted on socials that I’m aware of either.
