18th Apr 2024 (1 year ago)I didn't have a perfect experience with Franklyn James in terms if number of viewings although they were quick to advertise the property and the listing was strong. The market was incredibly slow too so it's hard to say if any other agent would have performed better.
25th Mar 2026 (8 days ago)I purchased my first home with Fisks, they were absolutely brilliant to work with. Ryan and Nicola were very helpful and explained the whole process really well for me. I would recommend them to anyone in the Essex area, especially first time buyers

20th Mar 2026 (13 days ago)As the owner of the house R Bhasker bought below, I feel it's only fair to say my opinion of Neil King and his team is the absolute opposite. They have been professional, straightforward, proactive, and fair throughout. I have known them for years; I have used them both as a buyer and as a seller; and I would not hesitate to recommend them. In my experience they operate with great integrity in an industry where trust is at a premium. And I can see my experience is echoed in most of the other reviews. Lastly, my own opinion on the survey is that it was perfectly normal for a house of this age and type. Any issues with vermin were common, localised, minor, and dealt with quickly.

10th Sep 2025 (6 mo. ago)Catherine and Derek were excellent to deal with from the moment I first made enquiries to the day I moved out. Any emails were responded to very quickly and any issues dealt with - the property was very new and there were some things the builders had to sort but Catherine kept chasing them to ensure things were fixed. All in all they made the process so easy and efficient and were always so pleasant as well. Deposit was returned the day after I moved out which was fantastic.

Dishonest advertising of what was supposed to be a 2 bedroom open plan flat to rent in civic square RM18 Tilbury led my wife and I to believe we had potentially found our perfect home. Just to be sure, my wife even called the agency to make sure it was definitely a 2 bedroom flat. Despite being booked in initially at 16:30 for a viewing, due to the constant stuttering and lack of confidence in what we were being told over the phone, my wife decided to call again an hour before the viewing to make sure we were definitely booked in. We weren’t, so we would have turned up for nothing :) Anyway, we booked ourselves another viewing for 16:45. Surprise surprise, the agent turned up late. Did we get a call to say he was running late? No. We called him and he told us he would be 10 minutes. Surprise surprise, this turned into 25 minutes stood outside the flat baking in the sun. Cherry on top? It was a 1 single bedroom flat with a separate living room and small kitchen. It gets worse. When I confronted the agent about the false advertising, he was incredibly rude and told me “yeah but it can be used as a 2 bed if you use the living room area as a bedroom.” Dishonest agency, unorganised and pathetic to be honest, stay away from this agency!

9th Jan 2026 (12 weeks ago)I am disgusted by the way [Cranbrook letting Ltd] treats people. We viewed a property and were explicitly told by the agent that the house was ours and we could proceed with the rental. We started making plans and stopped looking at other places based on their word. ?However, shortly after, they went behind our backs and gave the house to someone else without a word of explanation. This level of dishonesty is appalling. ?To make matters worse, the stress and disappointment caused by this agency's lies literally made my mother sick. We spent time, energy, and hope on this, only to be treated like we didn't matter. They are unprofessional, untrustworthy, and have zero compassion for the families they deal with. If you want an agency that keeps its promises, look elsewhere."

From the very first conversation, Ali was approachable, honest, and incredibly knowledgeable about the market. He took the time to listen, offered clear advice, and made sure every detail was handled perfectly. What really stood out was Ali’s commitment and work ethic. He was always available to answer questions, kept us fully informed at every stage, and proactively solved any issues before they became problems. His negotiation skills were excellent, and he worked tirelessly to secure the best possible result. Ali made the entire process smooth, stress-free, and efficient. His attention to detail, transparency, and genuine care for his clients are rare to find. 3rd Feb 2026 (8 weeks ago)Very unprofessional after you give them business. They managed our property in Northampton for 4 years. No inspection reports ever provided. Told us the tenant has left and there was no rent for us. Seem like they do not know the legal implications of such action. The personnel who managed our property was very arrogant and has no idea of customer service. Had to prompt them for rent to be disbursed on most of the times.
