Lewis handled the sale process for me and his professionalism also stood out, very smart and polite, he did everything he could to make the process as easy and speedy as he could, updating me throughout. If I had to make any phone calls to the office, all the agents were always polite and passed on any messages I left for Lewis, I always had a speedy response. 29th May 2026 (9 weeks ago)*Stay well clear, avoid Tomlinson Estates at all costs* My son started a tenancy with a group of other students at a shared property let via Tomlison Estates. On first entry we noted and reported that his room had a faulty / damaged window, that the extraction fan in the bathroom was not working and the Freezer compartment of a fridge-freezer was leaking as it was rammed with ice, the door was not closing and needed fixing. My son stayed in the house and his room no more than a week (or less) and moved out to another loaction. We got no help from Tomlinsons to relet the room (basically it was our problem and just pay the rent, they did not seem to care a jot) and hence the room stayed empty for the duration of the tenancy. As far as we know the faulty window and extractor fan have not been fixed (we have reported it to the landlord was the usual response). With the tenancy ending 31-July-24 I expected the deposit monies to be returned promptly in full, particularly that of my son, as he had not been living there for 95% or more of the tenancy period whilst we paid the full rent for 2 accommodations! Now in October they have returned the deposit with a large deduction for end of tenancy cleaning. Totally unacceptable.

They were efficient, excellent communicators, and nothing was ever too much trouble.<br><br>My house sold within 24 hours of going on the market and for more than the asking price. Despite challenges with our onward purchase and receiving very few updates from the other estate agent involved, Chloe and her team went above and beyond to chase information on our behalf and keep things moving.<br><br>Their professionalism, dedication and support made a stressful process much easier. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.

28th Jun 2026 (4 weeks ago)Extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience for viewing “3 Lupin Close, Edwalton, Nottingham, NG12 4HU” on Saturday June 27th 2026<br><br>I had a viewing appointment booked for 2:45 pm, so I left home on time. Due to unexpected traffic, I realised I might be 5–10 minutes late. At around 2:40 pm, I called the Holden Copley office to inform them that I would arrive between 2:50 pm and 2:55 pm. I was assured that this was absolutely fine, that the team would be informed, and I was advised to continue to the property.<br><br>I arrived at 2:55 pm, rang the doorbell, and waited outside for around five minutes, assuming someone might still be inside. When nobody answered, I called the office again, only to be told that the sales executive had already left after waiting just two minutes, until approximately 2:47 pm, because his diary was “very busy.”<br><br>What makes this even more frustrating is the complete double standard. Only last week, when viewing another one of their property (14 Autumn Close, West Bridgford, Nottingham, NG2 7YL, on Monday 22nd June), their own sales executive arrived 15 minutes late. On that occasion, I patiently waited outside in the hot afternoon sun with my 5 and 8-year-old children, and I even had to cancel an important office meeting because of their delay. I accepted it without complaint because I understood that delays can happen.<br><br>However, yesterday when I informed them in advance that I would be delayed by no more than 10 minutes, they couldn’t extend the same basic courtesy. Instead, the appointment was effectively cancelled after waiting just two minutes, despite the office knowing exactly when I would arrive.<br><br>To make matters worse, when I requested that the sales executive return to the property, I was spoken to in a dismissive and rude manner. I was repeatedly told that his diary was “very busy” and that he would not be coming back. There was no apology, no attempt to resolve the situation, and no appreciation for the time I had spent travelling.<br><br>This is not how customers should be treated. If you expect clients to accommodate your delays, you should be willing to show the same flexibility when customers communicate honestly and courteously in advance. The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and complete disregard for customer time have left me extremely disappointed. Based on this experience, I would seriously question whether Holden Copley genuinely values its customers.

Adam came to the house 4 months before we put it on the market to advise on optimising our final DIY efforts to finish the renovation. He was so helpful through the photographing stage. Starla and Darcy were brilliant communicators through viewings and the conveyancing stages.
