This is the second time we have used them and highly recommend them if you want to sell or buy. They act quickly and responsively to your needs

Steve, Jules, and Amelia were hands on from the start and the communication and support we received throughout a complex period was fantastic. Unlike some estate agents in the area who make promises that they do not fulfil, FHP provide a first class, personal service from start to finish.

The process of getting to completion took longer than we planned for, but this is more to do with solicitors/management companies not being as thorough as we would have expected.<br><br>Izzy was really good in communicating with us and her professionalism shone through. 22nd Oct 2026 (8 days ago)In my search for renting a property after having had no luck withh other agency's until i stumbled across an ad for a property that suited my needs and after having enquired through Brown and Merry i was contacted shortly after and they had arranged a viewing, on top of viewing i had made an on the spot query to view a second property and was greatly accommodated, after having made a decision between the two properties i contacted Brown and Merry and they promptly assisted me in the application process and made the process stress free, this is my second time in 5 years using Brown and Merry and would greatly recommend them for prompt and timely assistance and delivery of service.

23rd Oct 2026 (7 days ago)I’ve viewed hundreds of properties over the years – from London to Liverpool, Manchester, Cambridge, and Spalding– and met countless estate agents, but this agency has been by far the most friendly and memorable I’ve come across. The very first time I viewed a few properties with them, the agent was wonderfully welcoming – a real breath of fresh air. This was my second time in Spalding viewing properties, and this time round it was Max who showed me the properties over the last two days. Working with him has been equally exceptional. He showed me three properties yesterday and was very kind to arrange a second viewing for one of them today because I had to return to London. Throughout it all, he remained completely patient, and approachable. What impressed me most was his genuine kindness and respect. Unlike many in the industry who can be transactional, judgmental, and impatient – sometimes even making you feel looked down upon depending on your budget – Max treated every property and question with equal care and professionalism. True humility, kindness, and respect have nothing to do with age or how many decades someone has been in the job. Regardless of experience or seniority, many across the industry have a lot to learn from Max about staying grounded and treating every client with genuine respect. If I were selling a property, I would go with this agency without hesitation. Max and his colleagues make people feel truly comfortable and valued, which makes all the difference. Max is a wonderful professional with an exceptional work ethic, and with this attitude, he is going to do brilliantly in whatever he chooses to do. Highly recommended!

26th Oct 2026 (4 days ago)I felt racially profiled and my time was wasted. I attempted to book a viewing and when I told them my name, it was sharply repeated back to me in a judgmental tone. I was then asked my income, asked to complete an income form that demands all my personal and confidential data, and then for a tax return (just for a rental viewing by the way), they booked a viewing for a few days later. Less than an hour before the viewing, I received a voicemail telling me the viewing was cancelled without explanation. I called back and they said they didn’t have the keys. I asked if the viewing could then be rescheduled, they reluctantly said yes, for later that afternoon. 30mins later I received a call from management advising that the property was no longer available for me and they had cancelled the viewing.<br><br>I was spoken to rudely across all 3 calls (Yasmin, Izzy?, and Nora) - I believe these were the names of the agents I spoke to.<br><br>I felt profiled from the first call, my time was wasted and I was misled to thinking I’d be able to view the property and here’s why:<br><br>- why was I asked for significantly more personal data only after they knew my name?<br>- why was I asked for proof of income just for a viewing? No other agent has ever asked me this?<br>- why was I lied to in the morning of the viewing to say they just forgot to collect the keys<br>- if the property had genuinely gone, any agent would then suggest other properties rather than closing the door immediately on both occasions there were issues that apparently came up.<br><br>Worst experience from an agent, avoid giving these people your hard-earned properties to manage.

Tom and Natalie went above and beyond to help us sell our home and were incredibly supportive throughout the whole process. Communication was excellent, and they were always easy to get hold of whenever we needed anything. The online portal was also fantastic for keeping track of progress and knowing exactly where things were up to, which made the whole experience much less stressful. We’re so grateful for all their help and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to sell their home. Thank you so much ??????
