20th Mar 2026 (13 weeks ago)I’ve had the pleasure of working with Russell Simpson, and in particular Ali Carter, over a 14-year tenancy at Upper Cheyne Row in Chelsea and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, the experience has been consistently professional, responsive, and genuinely collaborative. Ali has been a pleasure to deal with throughout, always approachable, efficient, and thoughtful in her communication. Over such a long tenancy, what stood out most was the level of trust, continuity, and mutual respect maintained on all sides. The recent end of tenancy process was handled seamlessly and in a very fair and constructive manner, which I greatly appreciated. It’s rare to find this level of service and consistency over such a long period, and I would not hesitate to recommend Ali and the wider Russell Simpson team to anyone looking for a high-quality, well-managed experience in Prime Central London. 20th May 2026 (30 days ago)Keep miles away! My reviews are being deleted now for years! They started scamming me two weeks after my husband suddenly passed away. Told me small repairs were needed, once the present tenants move out. I asked for pictures of before and after and to be informed of what repairs, and the costs. I did not receive any of the above. Instead, I was told the cost would be in the five figures, and the repairs had already been done! They also wanted another huge five figure amount because they threw away the furniture without my permission! After months of trying to reason with them, they said they wanted to be the middleman in letting out to another Estate agent and hence, I would pay them a commission. The other agent would need thousands to refresh the property, and would also charge their own commission. I suspected something was up when they became quiet. Upon investigating, I found out they were renting out my property without having any intention of informing me, or paying me the rent! They were banking on the fact that in my grief, I would be gullible and agree to their plans!

19th Mar 2026 (13 weeks ago)Everytime I enquire about a property for sell this agent is advertising. The first question they ask is 'Do you have a property for sell'. They take all your personal details and at the end don't give a date for viewing. This happened on several occasions, I have now stopped enquiring. I believe this is a fishing tactic to get peoples information and if they can find a person who is looking to sell. I would not ever buy or sell a property through them.

Both were so friendly and accommodating through the process, and my husband and I genuinely appreciate their efforts and expertise. It made an otherwise stressful undertaking that much less daunting, and we won't forget their kindness.
13th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)We recently completed a move through Kingsbury Estate Agents, and we couldn’t have done it without Joe. Our sale turned into a marathon lasting many months, but Joe’s persistence was the only reason we finally got over the line. While the process was often stalled by other parties, Joe remained proactive and stayed on top of the chain throughout. He was consistent, patient, and never lost momentum despite the delays. We really appreciated his steady communication and the fact that he stuck with us until the very end. Highly recommended if you need an agent who actually follows through.
9th Feb 2026 (19 weeks ago)Although my early encounters with City Move Estate and their staff were polite and pleasant, they ended up evicting me from my apartment without issuing the appropriate documents at the beginning of my tenancy. In addition, the hot showers in my apartment were unreliable for over a year despite multiple requests to get them fixed- when, after more than a year had passed, the shower was finally fixed up, the eviction notice came soon after. After the improper eviction they then charged me an extortionate cleaning fee. Would not recommend.

Previously I had dealt with housing associations that can be impersonal and treated me like an 'applicant' not a human being. Finding a new home is a really big deal and so it was great to work with Lyss Homes who were sympathetic to how stressful the process can be. Dran took the time to answer all my questions and explain processes and procedures clearly.
14th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)The staff was always arranging viewings last minute and asking us to do the viewings twice on a late Saturday afternoon nas Sunday evening. There waa no mobile contact number to call easily. There was no extra effort to try amd sell the house beyond routine advertising. Once I withdrew the house from the market the manager who was calling me every daybto put the hous on the market did not even call or email me back personally. Just got a generic email from their parent company. Felt the whole approach was very impersonal.We know from other agents that our road is sought after and they get queries.. But Bairstowe did not seem to have much idea about what made our house and street an attractive prospect.
