6th Jun 2026 (6 days ago)I started off selling my property with Purplebricks and had a terrible experience (the worst customer service I've experienced in my life), I ended up in a position where I had found my dream house and was on the edge of losing it due to the incompetence of Purplebricks. However, Sharon Prestwood and the team at Cousins stepped in and they were fantastic. In less than a week they had my house back on the market and I had 3 solid offers the first day it was on the market. They did absolutely amazing, and I really cannot thank them enough for all their hard work. I couldn't recommend them enough.

They were all extremely helpful throughout the process from booking my initial appointment to view the property to chasing solicitors on both sides to keep me updated and overall giving me the information I needed. Would recommend them to anyone looking to buy their home and will definitely use them in the future if I look to buy or sell.

Buying a house can be incredibly stressful, especially with a long chain involved, but Julie was proactive, supportive, and always kept things moving. Her communication, persistence, and coordination made a huge difference and genuinely helped get the purchase over the line. The wider team were also professional, responsive, and helpful throughout the process. Thank you again to Julie and the team for all of your hard work. We really appreciate it and would highly recommend Gascoigne Halman.

Emmy was allocated case worker and she has the patience of a Saint liaising with the solicitors and making sure were were kept in the loop at all times. 18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
