10th Nov 2025 (8 mo. ago)Avoid Hills Estate Agency at All Costs!! I have spent the past year being over-promised and massively under-delivered by Hills. The experience has been nothing short of a disaster. There has been a complete failure in communication from start to finish. I was repeatedly given “estimated completion dates” that never materialised, followed by weeks even over a month of no contact whatsoever. Because of their poor advice, I am now over £2,000 out of pocket. The unprofessionalism is staggering. Staff openly discussed the seller’s personal finances, telling me the seller “had no money” and describing them as “an absolute nightmare customer.” Imagine paying Hills thousands of pounds to sell your property, only for them to bad-mouth you to the buyer. Completely unacceptable. Given this behaviour, it’s no surprise there are so many negative reviews online. I submitted a formal complaint and received a response from Charlotte today no empathy, no apology. If this is how a director behaves, it’s clear why the rest of the staff follow suit. If you value your time, your money and your sanity, avoid Hills like the plague!! Useless!!

Couldn’t recommend the team at salfird reeds rains the service is just excellent highly recommend using them we bought properties off them and had to let out with them

Very happy with the service overall.

His professionalism, knowledge and dedication were outstanding, and he went above and beyond to ensure everything progressed as smoothly as possible. He was always available to answer questions, kept us updated at every stage and worked tirelessly to keep both our sale and purchase moving forward.<br><br>Buying and selling a home can be stressful, but Laurence made the experience feel straightforward and well managed. 2nd Jul 2026 (26 days ago)As a nurse of 18 years, I had a stroke, I received full UC and PIP and also a private pension which leaves me with a better income than when I was a nurse, my next review is in 2029. All of this was included in the application enquiry form. I’ve have 10 years of private renting with no issues with rent or missed payments with tax etc I’ve passed all my housing inspections and can provide references from my last 2 landlords. I was told that there were no viewing slots available. So a few hours later using a different name I telephoned and surprisingly there are slots available! People should know that this company discriminates again disabled people. ( before anyone says they worried if my benefits are stopped! If they are stopped that means I am able to go back to the job I love serving people in our community).

From the initial valuation through to onboarding, the service has been outstanding.<br>From signing the contract, my property was photographed, all the security checks were completed and the brochure was created and ready to go live in less than 48 hours!<br><br>Christian has been incredible; I couldn't have asked for a better initial point of contact - very friendly, willing to help any way he can and super efficient! I'd also like to mention Natalie, who has also been very friendly, proactive and helpful.<br><br>I'm confident this team will sell my house in no time. Highly recommend!

Darryl came to value my property and advertised it for me with an amazing write up and photos, including a drone picture and a video. He was so helpful all the way through from start to finish. They acheived the best price for me and I had no end of viewings.<br>100% recommend

From the very beginning of my purchase right through to completion, she was absolutely fantastic.<br><br>Buying a property can be incredibly stressful, but she made the whole experience so much easier. She was always proactive in chasing updates from the seller’s solicitors, keeping me informed every step of the way. Whenever I had questions or needed advice, she was always happy to help giving me real confidence throughout the process.<br><br>I felt like she genuinely cared. She regularly checked in with me, often providing weekly and sometimes even daily updates, so I never felt like I was being left in the dark. She went above and beyond to keep things moving and was always willing to chase people on my behalf whenever needed.<br><br>Her professionalism, communication, and dedication made such a difference, and I honestly don’t think the process would have been nearly as smooth without her support. They managed to settle the insurance and deal with management firm to fix the interior issue while assisted to get another renters immediately after fixing everything.<br><br>Their communication and replies are promptly responsive.<br><br>Highly recommend!

7th Jun 2026 (7 weeks ago)From putting my property on the market and seeing it through to the sale, the staff were nothing but knowledgable, polite and all replies were dealt with in a very fast and timely manner. I would like to thank Beverly for all her help and patience. No matter how many times I emailed or phoned, Beverly was professional and dealt with all my queries and I received answers back from solicitors ect. within minutes of my emails. Beverly went above and beyond, even on the completion date and no matter how much I was stressed, Beverly was there every step of the way and even offered to stay behind after closing time so I could hand my keys in for the purchaser of my property to obtain. I would thoroughly recommend this company and if in the near future I need an estate agents again there would be no other answer than Redman and Casey.
