In the end in a difficult market, the property was sold for a good price which I was extremely grateful for the hard work that David and colleagues putting in.

We had a good experience with SA as a letting agent. They were especially helpful in supporting us - alongside our landlord - to deal with mould caused by issues in the broader building.

30th Oct 2026 (7 days ago)Really disappointing and stressful experience with Dimension Estates. Unprofessional, poor communication, disorganisation, and a complete lack of accountability.
I moved out of my flat in October, with a replacement tenant moving in on 3rd October and paying their first month's rent directly to Dimension Estates. However, the agency failed to complete the tenancy changeover paperwork because the member of staff responsible had left the company, and the agency failed to reassign her work to another member of staff.
I only discovered this after repeatedly contacting the agency about my £975 deposit. Until then, I had no idea I was still named on the tenancy agreement and potentially liable for a property that someone else was living in.
Despite this being entirely due to their own administrative failings, the agency then charged me £176 in tenancy changeover fees. Under the Tenant Fees Act 2019, these fees are generally capped at £50 unless higher reasonable costs can be justified and evidenced.
When I questioned the charges and requested evidence of the additional costs, the agency refused to provide it, simply insisting that the fees were reasonable.
To make matters worse, I was told that my £975 deposit would only be returned once I had paid the disputed £176 fee.
This left me feeling I had no real choice but to pay. I needed to ensure I was formally removed from the tenancy so I was no longer potentially liable for a property that someone else was already living in, and I also needed to recover my £975 deposit. Essentially, I felt pressured by the agency into paying a fee I had repeatedly challenged just to resolve a situation caused by the agency's own administrative failures.
I had to chase the agency to uncover their own mistake, was left potentially liable through no fault of my own, and was then expected to pay additional fees without adequate justification or evidence.
Overall, an extremely disappointing experience. The lack of communication, accountability, and transparency throughout the process has been unacceptable. I would not recommend this agency based on my experience.
16th Oct 2026 (21 days ago)Polat is amazing! To put it into perspective, I'm a buyer and leaving the estate agent a glowing review.
I don't think the transaction would have been successful without his deep involvement. He was able to put pressure on the seller's side when they weren't making sense or dawdling. He was also very patient with the influx of queries from me and worked together to solve problems.
I can't say enough positive things about him as an agent. If I could give more than five stars, I would. The ordeal for such a seemingly simple transaction was far easier with Polat around.
5th Nov 2026 (1 day ago)Before move-in, my experience with Kayla was genuinely very positive. She was friendly, responsive and proactive, and the letting process felt smooth and well managed.
Unfortunately, everything changed once the tenancy began and the payments had been made. From the day I moved in, communication effectively disappeared.
I expected there might be a few move-in issues, but the list has only grown: a broken bed, broken toilet seat, missing entrance door knob, cleanliness concerns, outstanding maintenance, furniture that was meant to be removed still left in the flat, and items that had been agreed to remain or be provided not there as expected.
What is most striking is not even the number of issues, but the complete lack of accountability, proactiveness and empathy in dealing with them. Calls have not been returned, emails have gone unanswered, agreed follow-ups have not happened, and I have repeatedly had to chase simply for acknowledgement or a timeline.
Management, including Ezekiel, is aware, but I am still waiting for the written follow-up I was told I would receive.
The contrast between the service before move-in and what followed afterwards could not be more disappointing.

27th Jan 2026 (9 mo. ago)If I could give no stars I would. Will, who said he was the manager of the two Hackney branches, really could not manage a rice pudding. He was enthusiastic until the sale was agreed and then didn't want to bother with any communicating thereafter. He gave the clear impression that he just needed to sit back, do nothing more and wait for the commission to role. He gave clear indications that he did not have time to try and help progress the sale because he was too busy trying to make other property sales. I came away with the definite idea that Dexters work on agreeing as many sales as they possibly can and then do nothing thereafter and keep their fingers crossed that the sale completes. They work on quantity of sales and not quality of service. What Will does not take into account is that buying and selling is very stressful for the buyers and sellers and part of the agents job should be to be very active in progressing the sale and keeping in communication with other agents and the buyers and sellers until the sale is complete. Avoid listing your property for sale with Dexters to avoid disappointment.

Pamela is our main contact, very professional, communicative, knowledgeable and on top of the whole process - would highly recommend her as an agent. She showed us the property and explained everything in depth and clearly. She’s also very responsive on WhatsApp to all of our questions, which has been very very helpful.
Overall, would recommend Fraser & Co Shoreditch, and ask for Pamela if you can!

Tobias local knowledge and understanding of the area helped us put it on at an acceptable price, the regular feedback received form viewings made us feel reassured .
Irina in the office was amazing too, always getting back to us with any queries and again reassuring us. The power of independent local estate agent was demonstrated to us consistently throughout this experience.
Their care, outstanding , local knowledge and expertise made a stressful process a lot easier.

Julia went all out to find us a new home we would be happy in, and Nick and Julia worked hard together to make sure our house sale went smoothly. They were responsive and easy to communicate with, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
