9th Jun 2024 (1 year ago)Lost our seller with no explanation and no communication. I know sellers back out sometimes but they handled it awfully, we had to learn it from our onwards, they gave no, explanation or advice and showed zero sympathy. They left us off the market for months and we missed several equiries and lost our onwards due to their ineptitude. To make matters worse they were almost double the price of other agents.

His initial valuation seemed rather high to us and was more than other agents suggested but within 2 weeks of listing it we sold our house for slightly more than that price. My only reservation - their recommended EPC provider was unsatisfactory.

Adams advice on the selling price, marketing strategy and offers has been excellent and a true testiment to his knowldge. I get a very personal service you can only find in an Independent agency. I would recommend anyone wishing to sell to contact Adam or Shannon at Langford Chase.

The phone reception was not good and I couldn't understand what he was saying on the other line. I asked him to repeat and HE HUNG UP ON ME. VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. What kind of a "reputable" company are you representing?

If you like to rent, buy or sell a property, choose Haymills agency , because the waiting time to process the documents is very short and any issues are very quickly resolved.

Ameet, always kept us well informed and answered all our queries. Throughout the whole process he was always available to calm our fears and answer all questions. They seem to be unable to provide me with up-to-date information on delays to the development, do not respond to emails and I don't believe are passing on my concerns to the Developer. It feels like the minute I signed they lost all interest. I have raised these concerns directly with them but there has been no improvement
24th Dec 2020 (5 years ago)Selling through Tatlers East Finchley was a good choice. The office, with Manager Stephen and Fari, was professional, focused and proactive. Stephen and Fari both knew the property intimately and were both very knowledgeable insightful and helpful. The whole process could not have been smoother.
23rd Dec 2025 (15 weeks ago)I rented a property through Selmans for 2.5years. Over this period we found Nick and team to be amazing to deal with, the consummate professionals. Nothing was too much and any questions or issues were always handled in a timely fashion. I've rented through some of the High Street names before, but honestly, it has been like night and day in comparison. You're not just a number with Selmans, you get that family feel, they actually care that your rental experience is a good one. Cherry on top was our deposit was returned within days of checkout (and in full) after having been protected throughout! Thanks Nick and team. If ever I have a need to rent again, locally, you'll be our first call, thankyou all!!

Having seen how they operate in both roles, I can confidently say they run a very efficient and professional service. As a tenant, the process was straightforward and well managed, with clear communication and responsive staff. That positive experience is one of the reasons I later chose them when I became a landlord. Now, with several properties let and managed through them, I’ve found their team to be highly organised and proactive. They handle tenant sourcing, referencing, and ongoing management smoothly, and they keep landlords well informed throughout the process. Any queries or issues are dealt with promptly, which gives real peace of mind when managing property. Their fees are fair for the level of service provided, and they clearly have strong market knowledge across London. They’ve been effective at securing good tenants and maintaining occupancy, which is exactly what landlords want. Overall, my experience with Benham and Reeves has been very positive. I’d happily recommend them to other landlords looking for a reliable and efficient letting and management agent in London. A special shout out to Marc, who has been excellent to work with. He is always professional, knowledgeable, and very responsive, which makes a big difference when managing multiple properties. But without using Agent Local i would have had a melt down, it’s been that emotional. 10/10 service and really glad I didn’t try sell it myself because my goodness the stress I’ve been through has been a rollercoaster and doing that alone would have been impossible for me.
