23rd Sep 2024 (17 days ago)Agency managed by people who don't care. Being in a flat managed by Foxtons Hampsted and paid almost 15k for 6 months rent and: -The toilet seat is still broken -The toilet flush is broken -New silicone has been put on top of MOULDY silicone -Water comes out the shower as the door is broken -Tyles broken in many places -WINDOWS DON'T STAY OPEN! Worse than all, we are being misled as we pick a flat for the private garden but it turn out to be communal! Most of the agents ignore phone calls or emails. No one ever showed at the flat. One of the property manager suggested to us to ask for compensation for the misleading. We paid almost 15k -fifteen thousand- and they offer 250 pound. Most of agents are rude and not very professionals. Still have no news about the time of when the flat will be repaired. Suggestion to everyone: think twice before dealing with this agency. If you'd like more details, please contact me I am sure no one from head office will reach out.

Scott was professional, knowledgeable and highly motivated, and we instantly knew we'd made the right choice. Lloyd did an amazing job finding us a committed buyer and achieving full asking price. The sale was seamless, and we couldn't be more grateful. We can highly recommend Chestertons and wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.
18th Sep 2024 (22 days ago)As far as viewing, admin, and move in was concerned, my partner and I had the smoothest ride as tenants moving into our new flat. Paris and Billy were responsive (my favourite aspect) and professional and friendly. Easiest process, no stress. Wonderful. There was a slight dispute afterwards about something minor, but we got in touch and liaised with branch manager Rob who was equally professional and everything got sorted so credit where credit's due. Happy Tenants. Cheers!

We had a buyer from hell, whose solicitor was not any better if not worse and we were in a chain on top. Nick was oasis of calm, strength and patience leading through sea of challenges. We would not have done without him !

Absolutely the most capable agent I’ve dealt with during my property search. Would certainly work with him again if the opportunity arose.
- 20th Sep 2024 (20 days ago)Do not move in to properties from Foxtons. I have been living in a mould infested flat for a year— which sent me to the hospital and an independent mould company confirmed the flat was unsafe to live in because it wasn’t properly damp proofed — and they did nothing. When I decided to move out because of the mould, they immediately started viewings of the flat and are now moving someone in when the landlord has no plans to carry out the 2 months of repairs necessary to make it not a health hazard. Beyond that, though, Foxtons has contacted me to schedule viewings of my flat several times when I explicitly told them not to, and when trying to find a flat with them, they offered ones that did not meet any of my criteria and were not on the market. Overall, I strongly recommend not using Foxtons.

His support was invaluable, and we never felt pressured at any point. I highly recommend Hastings International, and be sure to ask for Duncan!
