25th Apr 2026 (10 days ago)I would not recommend entering into any arrangement with this agency without extreme caution! It will also be worth checking the numerous negative reviews here! Based on my personal experience, I encountered ongoing issues with communication, contractual handling and payment-related matters. Certain concerns, including payments and entitlements, remained unresolved despite being formally raised and supported with screenshot, and no meaningful response was provided! For landlords, it is important to clearly establish in advance how the property will be marketed, how pricing will be structured, and whether any all-inclusive (bills included) arrangements may be applied, as these factors can significantly affect outcomes. Overall, anyone (tenants, landlords and employees) considering working with this agency should be prepared for potential complications!

I know that she went above and beyond to keep things moving with the sale despite certain complications and I'm very grateful and relieved that everything worked out. Thank you so much!
7th Apr 2026 (28 days ago)They artificially inflate reviews after each negative review, so be careful. Blocked access and unprofessional conduct; jeopardising our property purchase. We are currently in the process of purchasing a new home through Reeds Rains (acting for The New Homes Group) and, unfortunately, the experience has been quite challenging as we approach our March 31st exchange deadline. While we are committed to the purchase, we have encountered significant hurdles in completing basic due diligence. We have been trying to arrange a follow-up viewing for three weeks to take measurements and see parts of the property we haven't yet accessed, such as the backyard and the garage. Our main concerns include: Surveyor Access: It was disappointing that our surveyor was unable to inspect the garage because the representative on-site did not have the keys. Scheduling Issues: We waited two weeks for a Saturday appointment to accommodate the agency's schedule, only for a "calendar glitch" to result in a no-show while we were at the property. Lack of Prioritisation: Despite an apology and a promise that we would be prioritised for the following weekend, we have now been told those slots are full. As we work during the week, Saturday is our only option, a fact we made clear from the start. We simply want to view the property we are buying, take measurements for furniture, and ensure the unseen parts of property are in order. It is frustrating to feel that our purchase is being delayed by scheduling errors, especially when we are so close to exchanging contracts. We would have expected a more proactive approach to resolve these access issues, given the circumstances. Avoid Reeds Rain, specially if you are buying/renting in NE15, they only care till the point you are a prospect, once you convert then they don't prioritise you.

The team was professional, friendly, and highly knowledgeable, making the entire process smooth and stress-free from beginning to end. They were always responsive and kept me updated at every stage, which gave me great confidence throughout. Their attention to detail and commitment to delivering a high level of service really stood out. I would highly recommend Rook Matthews Sayer to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient estate agent. A well-deserved five-star experience!

From the initial valuation right through to completion, the team was professional, responsive, and genuinely supportive. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process—they kept me informed at every stage and were always quick to answer any questions. Their knowledge of the local market was clear, and they worked hard to secure a great offer in a week. Sadly the buyer pulled out after delays in the chain but the Northwood team quickly got the property back on the market and secured us another great offer in a matter of days! What really stood out was their attention to detail and commitment to making the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. I felt confident I was in good hands from start to finish. The quality of the listing was excellent and they had professional photography not just someone snapping on their phone, which I do believe generated great interest. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to sell their home.

11th Jan 2026 (16 weeks ago)I bought my house through Jan Foster Estate Agents over a year ago, and I can honestly say it was one of the worst and most stressful experiences of my life. What should have been an exciting milestone turned into an absolute nightmare because of the way this company operates and, in particular, because of the behaviour of Ashley, the agent I dealt with. From the very beginning, Ashley was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. He spoke to me in a condescending manner, showed no patience, and made me feel like I was an inconvenience rather than a client making one of the biggest purchases of my life. Simple questions were met with attitude, poor communication, or no response at all. At times, he was outright disrespectful, which is completely unacceptable in any profession, let alone estate agency. Communication throughout the process was shocking. I was constantly left chasing for updates, clarification, and basic information that should have been provided without me having to beg for it. Deadlines were unclear, things were poorly explained, and I was often left feeling confused and stressed because no one seemed to care enough to do their job properly. Instead of being supported and guided, I felt ignored and brushed aside. Buying a home is supposed to be handled with professionalism, respect, and care. Unfortunately, that was entirely missing here. The stress, anxiety, and frustration I went through could have been avoided if Ashley and Jan Foster Estate Agents had shown even a basic level of courtesy and competence. I would strongly advise anyone considering using Jan Foster Estate Agents to think twice. Based on my experience, they lack professionalism, respect for clients, and proper communication. I would never use this company again and would not recommend them to anyone. This experience left a lasting negative impression and completely took the joy out of buying my home.
7th Aug 2021 (4 years ago)Excellent experience overall. Bailey & Co were involved in both the selling and purchase sides of my chain. They managed to negotiate a great selling price on my flat in a very challenging market and always let me know straight away when appropriate properties for me came up buy. Which led to us finding our ideal house. Their sales progression team also did a great job of keeping me up to date on status of the chain and communicating with all parties quickly and efficiently when issues arose. I would definitely use them again. Thanks again to all the team at Bailey & Co for your hard work.
16th Apr 2026 (19 days ago)Surprised at the level of disrespect I’ve been shown from next2buys staff. Today an agent decided to start bragging about “billing” people and taking one client to court. It was brought up as general conversation almost from what ever her name was. Directed at me which I found amusing to say the least. All very threatening behaviour and scaremongering talk. Strange way to do business and I’ve never experienced anyone who I haven’t met in person talking to me in such a way. I’ve requested a formal complaints form which I still haven’t recieved. A trivial manner has escalated with me receiving vulgar voicemails with childish bratty-like attitude. They seem to think they own my property the way they talk. But that’s all it is, talk. All with almost bullying behaviour which is the reason I write this review, this behaviour might upset a tenant or a landlord or particularly a first time buyer for example. Strange and unfriendly group of weird people who attempt to talk with authority over you, forgetting they definetly don’t! I have experienced friendly and helpful advice and relationships with other estate agents and I would recommend everyone reading this to do the same.

27th Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)THE RUDEST ESTATE AGENT I HAVE EVER COME ACCROSS IN MY LIFE! Usually you would expect to be welcomed to to a property you are looking to buy, invited to park on the drive so you can see what it would be like to live there. Not Claudia Romano, who arrives 1 minute before the appointment, shouting out of her car door, "I'M THE ESTATE AGENT SO I GET TO PARK THERE!". And then, once we have driven around and finally found somewhere to park, has the cheek to tell us that we're late and we will not have a full appointment - when we were there first! Prospective sellers - avoid at all costs!!!
