9th Oct 2026 (23 days ago)I've dealt with Gregory Brown in Ashford on and off since 2016 when I bought a flat through Harry. In contrast to some other estate agents in the area, he was not pushy, came across as genuine and realistic about the property he was selling. I could not fault them during my purchase. Some years later I had to relocate for work and decided to let the flat out. I asked Gregory Brown to manage the property for me as I was so impressed with them when I bought the flat. As managing agents they were also very impressive, their commission was reasonable, they dealt with any maintenance issues promptly and for decent prices, once again I can't fault them based on my experience. When my job became permanent in my new area it was clear I would not be returning to Ashford, so it was time to sell the flat. Once again I went to Harry who dealt very well with a difficult sale, the management company at the flat were woeful but all the guys at GB were pro-active with chasing them for the information my buyers required before the sale could progress. I've experienced Gregory Brown as a a buyer, a seller and as managing agents on behalf of a landlord and can't speak highly enough of them. They seem like a close knit, decent bunch of guys in the office and are everything you'd want from a proper, honest, professional local business. Absolutely first class in every respect.

16th Oct 2026 (16 days ago)I submitted a bid to purchase a property with Grants Homes, Weybridge, hoping to buy quickly as I was very keen on the property. However, I found the communication frustrating. The agency focused on the fact that I had viewed the property 3 times beforehand, viewing this as a negative. Furthermore, when I asked a few basic questions regarding safety Grants became unnecessarily negative. I was also told I wouldn't receive answers to any questions until the formal legal process began. In my experience, all other local estate agents are more helpful and willing to answer basic queries at the offer stage. Due to this disappointing experience, I ultimately decided not to proceed with the purchase. This happened in Jan 2026. On a positive the representative I met at the property was very helpful indeed.

They took the time to understand our situation and always helped us find solutions.<br><br>I really appreciated their professional yet personal approach and, despite the complexities, genuinely enjoyed working with them. Moving house is a stressful and sometimes frustrating process, so it always helps when you encounter people who are professional and competent : )

Esme Webster-Brooks was our key contact and throughout the process was extremely professional, proactive, helpful, reassuring and gave some very useful advice. The service was above and beyond, including visiting the property for insurance and survey purposes when we couldn't and doing the final meter readings. Everything happened in a timely fashion (where it was in Curchods control) and we are very pleased with all the team and all that they did for us.

Selling or buying the market can be tricky but they went above and beyond to ensure everyone involved – the buyer and the solicitors – played ball. They made sure nothing was too much trouble and their communication throughout was excellent. I couldn’t be more impressed and grateful for their Stirling efforts.

3rd Oct 2026 (29 days ago)Agent reassured us our family ‘profile’ would appeal to sellers, some days later they sold to a property developer!<br>Not much more to say.<br>Property was sold likely to a friend as its sold price never appeared on rightmove sold!<br><br>Also as days lapsed communication went sour. And since they never contacted us regarding any new properties, effectively loosing interest!<br><br>Won’t be using again

22nd Dec 2021 (4 years ago)I cannot say enough about V&H Homes and specifically Maria at the Ashtead Branch. While they are a smaller independent agent, they will absolutely give you the personalized service that an independent can provide. Give those big estate agents in Surrey a miss, take your business to V&H. The communication throughout the process was exemplary, the dedication to getting the sale was second to none. We had tried to sell previously with the usual suspects in Surrey and none of them could get the sale and it seemed hopeless, V&H got it done in 10 days! There were many times in our sale where things got rocky and Maria went well over and above day in and day out to ensure that everything went through. I truly believe that if we had went with another big establishment high street agent that our sale would not have happened. While Maria was absolutely amazing, we also had interactions with the other associates at Ashtead V&H Homes. When Maria was out of office our file was well looked after, the service didn’t slip at all which is very rare in a sales situation. As I said at the beginning of this review, I really can’t say enough about Maria and V&H. These days reviews are either 5* or 1* and it’s getting more and more difficult to sift through them to make a decision. This is 100% a genuine 5* review. Were there issues in the sales process, of course there were, we were selling a house. But it wasn’t about the issues, it was about how they were handled, the speed at which they were handled, and the fact that when something came up we were never left to worry, V&H were always just a phone call or e-mail away. Thank you so much Maria and V&H Homes for the personalized service and all the time and effort that you spent on our file. We absolutely owe our sale and the fact that we are snugly in our new home all to you! Very best regards, Danny
31st Jul 2026 (13 weeks ago)We honestly couldn't have asked for a better estate agent to guide us through both the sale of our apartment and the purchase of our new family home.<br><br>It certainly wasn't the most straightforward sale and purchase, with plenty of challenges along the way, but from start to finish the whole team was professional, knowledgeable and incredibly supportive.<br><br>A special thank you has to go to Aaron, who was our main point of contact throughout. He was absolutely outstanding.<br>His communication was excellent, he was always available to answer our questions, he kept us updated every step of the way and was proactive in chasing things whenever progress stalled. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and his calm, reassuring approach made a huge difference during what could have been a very stressful process.<br><br>We are absolutely delighted with our new home and so grateful for everything Aaron and the team did to help us get here. He recently sold our Mother's house in Ashtead, which had a few hiccups along the way and took a long time to get over the finish line. Mark remained calm throughout and gave us good guidance, in what was for us an emotional and difficult time.

We got the sense that Mint sell every house as if they are selling their own, going the extra mile to promote the selling points of not only our house but also the local area. This resulted in a swift sale at a price higher than other estate agents thought possible.<br><br>Communication is a really strong point with Mint and they gave thorough feedback on viewings and the WhatsApp group helped keep us up to date with everything throughout the whole process.<br><br>We encountered some issues with the chain but nothing was too much trouble for Mint to help with and I genuinely believe if we had chosen any other Estate agent, there would have been a real risk of the chain falling apart. But thanks to their hard work, dedication and exceptional communication, we completed on our sale and purchase with Mint.<br><br>We can't thank Nicole, Sally and Sarah enough for everything they did and will recommend Mint to anyone as THE estate agent to choose whether selling or buying a property.<br><br>Thank you again!
