Abi was always quick to respond and happy to answer any questions I had, making everything feel straightforward and well-supported.<br><br>Overall, a great service and I’d definitely recommend the team.

From the very beginning, he was friendly, reassuring, and always easy to speak to. He kept us updated throughout and made the whole process feel much less stressful.<br><br>He was genuinely lovely to deal with and massively supportive. Always happy to help, nothing felt like too much trouble, and we felt really well looked after. We’d happily recommend Stuart to anyone buying a home.

Very professional, approachable, honest and always available. No hard sales waffle, no forcing stats to try tease the sale price down. I have nothing but praise for this team who listened and then worked with enthusiasm towards my end goal. 20th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)2020 9th Sept. Martin from CARSONS came to value our property in Northfield, Lightwater. "Realistic selling price £550k" (as we needed to sell quickly as we had our hopes on buying another property). 14th Sept photographs and plan completed 15th Sept, sales negotiators all came so they knew what they’d be talking about on accompanied viewings 15 Sept p.m. property went live Between the 17th & 22nd we had 14 viewings (+ another two 2nd viewings) we had 7 offers from 4 parties. We accepted final offer on the 23rd and completed in December....... Well done CARSONS. Comparing that experience when two years earlier we were tied in to a 22 week contract with another Estate Agent who falsely raise sellers hopes of achieving a higher price than they’d originally expected (presumedly to get the contract) and saying they had many viewings lined up = 3 in three weeks and 5 in six weeks! Suggested reducing the asking price by 5% after three weeks (a very common practise for them). Contract selling fees incorrect and sale board not erected for weeks. Their staff didn’t know what they are talking about and repeatedly told lies .....And more importantly THEY DONT SELL THE PROPERTY WHEN THEY NEED TO....pretty rubbish really!- 8th Apr 2026 (11 weeks ago)The team was very enthusiastic about selling our property. We had many viewings. They did advise us to put the property on higher than other estate agents and then within 3 weeks suggested we lower it based on feedback on how the market had slowed. Eventually they found someone who really liked the property which was great. Very thankful to the team.

22nd Dec 2021 (4 years ago)I cannot say enough about V&H Homes and specifically Maria at the Ashtead Branch. While they are a smaller independent agent, they will absolutely give you the personalized service that an independent can provide. Give those big estate agents in Surrey a miss, take your business to V&H. The communication throughout the process was exemplary, the dedication to getting the sale was second to none. We had tried to sell previously with the usual suspects in Surrey and none of them could get the sale and it seemed hopeless, V&H got it done in 10 days! There were many times in our sale where things got rocky and Maria went well over and above day in and day out to ensure that everything went through. I truly believe that if we had went with another big establishment high street agent that our sale would not have happened. While Maria was absolutely amazing, we also had interactions with the other associates at Ashtead V&H Homes. When Maria was out of office our file was well looked after, the service didn’t slip at all which is very rare in a sales situation. As I said at the beginning of this review, I really can’t say enough about Maria and V&H. These days reviews are either 5* or 1* and it’s getting more and more difficult to sift through them to make a decision. This is 100% a genuine 5* review. Were there issues in the sales process, of course there were, we were selling a house. But it wasn’t about the issues, it was about how they were handled, the speed at which they were handled, and the fact that when something came up we were never left to worry, V&H were always just a phone call or e-mail away. Thank you so much Maria and V&H Homes for the personalized service and all the time and effort that you spent on our file. We absolutely owe our sale and the fact that we are snugly in our new home all to you! Very best regards, Danny

They were incredibly helpful throughout the entire transaction, making the process smooth and stress-free from start to finish. Gary was a pleasure to deal with — professional, approachable, and proactive in keeping the sale and purchase progressing at the right pace without ever being pushy. He was always happy to help, highly supportive, and kept us well informed throughout. We would highly recommend Churchods to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.

6th Jun 2026 (15 days ago)Molly was always friendly, responsive and professional in her dealings with us, and we have no criticism of her personally. Unfortunately, our overall experience as buyers was very disappointing. The negotiation process lasted several weeks and involved multiple competing parties, repeated changes in position and prolonged uncertainty. We remained fully engaged throughout, including while away on holiday, and ultimately increased our offer in order to secure the property. Our offer was accepted, the property was taken off the market and we immediately proceeded with ID checks, mortgage arrangements and the other steps expected of a committed buyer. We did so in good faith and on the basis that the transaction was moving forward. However, despite the property being off the market and the sale progressing, we were ultimately gazumped by a higher offer and the vendors chose to proceed elsewhere. We appreciate that estate agents have a duty to pass on offers and that gazumping is legally possible before exchange of contracts. However, what disappointed us most was the lack of certainty and expectation management throughout the process. From a buyer’s perspective, the transaction felt unnecessarily drawn out and poorly controlled, resulting in considerable wasted time, effort, expense and emotional investment. Whilst Molly was courteous throughout, the overall handling of the transaction left us with little confidence in the agency’s ability to provide buyers with any meaningful degree of security once an offer has been accepted.
