Paul Vincent was very quick to respond to calls and emails, and provided me with all the information I asked for. Josh was also great for showing me around the property whenever I requested it and for giving me information during the viewing, while allowing me the freedom to browse as long as I needed.
26th May 2026 (23 days ago)Avoid. If you wish to purchase, the agency is at the service of the seller, never the buyer. All financial shenanigans are permitted to satisfy the seller. They rent out flats with photos that are 10 years old! The rentals are in terrible condition, with high rents and minimal maintenance. The deposit is often reduced, allowing the landlord to make an additional profit. Update: Sadly, I was a customer. Update: I have recovered my deposit, which you were wrongly holding back, via myDeposits.
3rd Jun 2026 (15 days ago)First experience with Connells. Me and my partner got booked in for a viewing of a letting property . We arrived on time yet no one was there to show us around. We waited there for half a hour and attempted to make contact several times and nothing. I’m still trying to get in contact today and still nothing the viewing was now 3 days ago and I still haven’t received any further information. Please don’t expect anything if you get booked in for a viewing and just stay clear because you will end up wasting your time. Thanks.

23rd Jan 2026 (21 weeks ago)Had 8 different estate agents value my property (having already done my own research). ONLY Fox and Sons valued it the same. All the others just showed my details of other properties, none of which compared to mine, and put a ridiculously low value on mine. I showed them the door. Fox & Sons did not do this. They organised professional photographs etc., and advertised my property. Within a week I had an acceptable offer at my and Fox & Sons valuation, and far above that at which all the other Estate Agents had valued my home. The service from Fox & Sons has been nothing short of excellent, keeping me fully informed by text, email and phone, every step of the way. all I can do now is keep my fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly for the buyer.

She efficiently arranged the viewing of a property for myself, arriving on time, and I found her to be very knowledgeable, professional, and a pleasure to deal with. A great overall experience. I came across the process with several viewings together with Sales Negotiator Bailey, he is professional, always at the property before scheduled time, gave us suggestions with useful information to our questions.

31st May 2026 (18 days ago)I have been involved in 3 sales over the last few years, with various Southampton agents. Goadsby are far and away the best agent we have used. They are the first party involved in a sale I have ever wanted to use again. You are dealing with humans who understand the overall context of the sale, not an automated workflow of Bot like responses.

28th May 2026 (21 days ago)Moved to a place in Southampton through The Home Agency and due to covid I had to move back home - however, despite him taking my full months rent deposit and saying there was a 3 week rent penatly for breaking the contract early (despite it being completely out of my control as to why I had to move away), I still never received the remaining deposit back because apprently the landlord doesnt want to or something. I was young and naive at the time so I didn't put up much of a fight, but it was seriously screwed up that they straight up stole my money.
10th Jun 2026 (8 days ago)I recently dealt with the selling team at Charters, Chandlers Ford, and even though I didn’t end up purchasing a property through them, I genuinely feel they deserve a positive review. From start to finish, the experience was smooth, professional, and surprisingly enjoyable. A special mention has to go to Jorgia, who was consistently brilliant throughout. She was friendly, proactive, knowledgeable and made the whole process feel far less stressful. She kept me updated without ever being pushy, answered all of my questions, and genuinely seemed to care about helping me find the right place rather than just pushing a sale. Even though my purchase ended up going in a different direction, the level of service I received from Jorgia stood out. I’d happily recommend Charters to anyone looking for an estate agent that’s communicative, honest, and genuinely supportive.
