3rd Oct 2026 (5 weeks ago)My property was on the market over four months. But couldn't sell it. Price wasn't too high. Didn't have any viewings almost three months. Connells asked to reduced price three times and I was agreed. But they couldn't make many viewings. Only four viewings had and they asked to reduce price again I didn't agreed. Because that price wasn't too high. Couldn't sell my property with them. I am not happy about their overall service ??????
19th Oct 2026 (19 days ago)I recently sold my house through Ted George. Their fee was surprisingly reasonable compared with other agents in the area. I was very pleased with the photographs of my property. I also found them to be very accessible and quick to respond with regard to communication, whether by phone, email or texts. So I was kept fully informed during the process. Would I use them again? Yes, I would.- 5th Sep 2026 (9 weeks ago)The team at Chancellors in Carterton have been great for us throughout the whole process. From the start, Jordan was great and communicated everything clearly and stayed on top of everything for us. Kirsty too, has been superb throughout the transaction, really helpful and understanding.
We’re certainly not planning to move again anytime soon, but if we did, I very much suspect we would use Chancellors again!

As a first time buyer I had a lot of questions and the staff at David Richens were great at answering them and providing reassurance. This was a fairly long saga of a purchase (through no fault of DR) with a number of twists and turns, but David Richens have been great throughout keeping us informed of the progress and acting as an intermediary between all the members of the chain. I cannot recommend them highly enough as a firm with a huge amount of local knowledge and a friendly personal touch.

I had to chase them for feedback every time (however, only had 7 viewings in 4 months!) didn’t hear from them at all for 7 weeks! NO communication at all!! Arranged viewings with totally unsuitable prospective buyers (e.g. a lady with an electric car who wanted to install an electric hook up when there is no driveway-on street parking).
Felt forgotten about as the office wasn’t in our town.
Worse than disappointing.

20th Oct 2026 (18 days ago)There is a reason Maxwell Douglas sell the most houses in Chipping Norton and the surrounding areas year-after-year. They're professional, and their knowledge of the area is second-to-none.
We moved to Maxwell Douglas after a bad experience with another agent, and they had us re-listed with new photos taken within two days. We subsequently had an offer and sold the house with two weeks, after multiple viewings.
We had the pleasure of dealing with Andy, and Marc, and I'd have no problem recommending them to others thinking about selling, or buying, locally.
