Having recently sold my late mother's house, I was extremely impressed by the quality of service I received from my estate agents, Acorn Group and, especially, Joe Reeves, their area sales manager. Joe was my first and main point of contact throughout the process. He provided indispensable support at every stage, even after I returned to the United States where I reside. Notably, every promise he made, he kept. I should also mention he was able to arrange for essential repairs (gas, electricity, plumbing), which were carried out to a uniformly high standard with minimal wait time on my part. On a personal level, Joe was invariably warm and approachable. It was a pleasure to communicate with him, whether in person, by email, or via WhatsUp. I am more than happy to give Joe Reeves my highest recommendation.

Jackie and Mea were both amazing in making sure we managed to purchase our new home and have been absolutely a massive help in maintaining a good level of communication and transparency of how the chain was progressing. I cannot recommend them enough and they somehow managed to make the whole process as smooth and less stressful as possible.

Avoid John Payne - acorn completely Dishonest and Unprofessional
I strongly advise against using Acorns Property /John Payne estate ! They have refused to return my £1,500 deposit for 51 Gilbert Close since January 3rd, 2025, and instead of addressing the issue professionally, they resort to gaslighting and deceit.
The person handling my case, Georgina, is incredibly rude, unprofessional, and emotionally unstable. She snaps at tenants, dismisses valid concerns, and is clearly not fit for her role. Rather than resolving issues, she gaslights and makes the process as frustrating as possible.
This estate agency is full of liars who do not care about their tenants. Save yourself the stress and go with a reputable, trustworthy agency—there are far better options out there! Avoid at all costs.
