I decided to go with Cockburn not only because their fee was competitive, but also because I felt they provided the most realistic valuation. It’s also good to support a local independent agent rather than a national chain. I trusted their post-offer support. As we know, the process can be extremely stressful, and a lot of things can go wrong, but Catherine kept communication between all parties clear and sent me regular updates from the buyer’s side and all the conveyancers involved. This contributed to a successful completion. Did I mention that Cockburn found the perfect buyer within days and negotiated the price like champions? I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome or service. I can wholeheartedly recommend Cockburn. Thank you.

31st Dec 2025 (15 weeks ago)We used Linay and Shipp for selling our house and buying a new house, and were very impressed by their service right from the start to finish. Every staff is helpful and lovely, nothing is ever too much trouble for them. They provided a professional photographer taking high quality photos for our property, and we had three viewing requests within two hours after the property listed. They were also very good with dealing with different types of buyers, and really stood up for us when there were unreasonable requests. They helped us manage the tedious conveyancing process: chasing solicitors and providing us with regular update in terms of what is going on. They made the whole house selling process much less stressful. In terms of finding our new home, they were very engaging in showing us the property, and were patient in answering all our questions. We requested two more viewings of the property after made an offer, and they were just as patient and helpful as we haven’t made an offer. In fact, we have learnt lots of great ideas on property improvements from them, and are implementing some of them right now. A big thank you to Breda, Jacqui, Lucy, Debbie and Helen for taking good care of us throughout the whole process, and we would recommend to them to anyone in a heartbeat!

22nd Dec 2025 (16 weeks ago)I have worked with Irwin & Scott over the past 18 months, during which time they rented, managed and ultimately sold my property, which has recently completed. The team have been fantastic across both the lettings and sales sides and I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone looking for an estate agent in the area. They were instrumental in getting the sale over the line, assisting with coordinating quotes from contractors following the survey and keeping both myself and the buyer fully informed throughout the process.
13th Mar 2026 (5 weeks ago)Contacted Nicholas on their chat service twice, 02nd and 05th Mar 2026 to arrange a visit by one of their valuers. No one called back in response to either contact. I was surprised and disappointed and so sent an e-mail to Andrew Harwood on 06th Mar, their Residential Director in Sevenoaks to make him aware and ask someone to call me as matter or urgency. No call back as of 09th Mar. Shocking. Update - did eventually hear from an apologetic Andrew Harwood who came over personally to appraise our home.

We also had a viewing with Tom, who was incredibly helpful, taking the time to answer our questions and making us feel comfortable and informed throughout. The whole experience felt smooth and well-managed thanks to the team, and we really appreciated the constant communication and reassurance. 27th Sep 2025 (6 mo. ago)Very grateful to Stuart and Lewis at Bromley Property Company. They managed to sell my mother's house in less than a week for the full asking price. A very impressive feat given how tough the market is for sellers at the moment! They're extremely helpful, friendly people to deal with and did a great job of liaising between my mother and the buyer. To top it all off, their fees are much lower than most local estate agents. I'll definitely use Bromley Property Company when I sell my own property. Huge thanks, Stuart and Lewis!

31st Mar 2026 (16 days ago)The worst agency. I had a flat with thia agency for 5 years. Whenever i had problems with property, they will never reply on emails if you dont send it multiple times, or call them. Even when they reply, it is very difficult for a solution from them. Some times I had to take a private contractor to do some urgent work with boiler or electricity. And when you ask for a refund for the amount you paid, they will try to charge you for that, so be careful and avoid them. Also make sure you make plenty of photos and videos when you move in the property, because when you leave they will try to keep your deposit. They will charge for things you woudn't imagine. I was lucky and smart i had proof when I moved in and out, otherwise my deposit would be gone. Try to avoid renting from them, and in case you do, make sure to have proof for everything, or they will try to act smart and steal your money. Rated 1 star only because i can't rate them lower.

My brother and I were selling our mums house and we both live in different countries. Despite this challenge, the staff at Thomas Brown kept is updated at every turn

27th Mar 2026 (20 days ago)THE RUDEST ESTATE AGENT I HAVE EVER COME ACCROSS IN MY LIFE! Usually you would expect to be welcomed to to a property you are looking to buy, invited to park on the drive so you can see what it would be like to live there. Not Claudia Romano, who arrives 1 minute before the appointment, shouting out of her car door, "I'M THE ESTATE AGENT SO I GET TO PARK THERE!". And then, once we have driven around and finally found somewhere to park, has the cheek to tell us that we're late and we will not have a full appointment - when we were there first! Prospective sellers - avoid at all costs!!!

20th Feb 2026 (8 weeks ago)I wish I had instructed Paul to sell my property initially because it had languished with 2 well known agents for Months without any sensible sale plan/updates.<br>Paul offered straight talking, no nonsense advice. We had an offer within days of the viewings.<br>Go with an agent who is as committed as you are to sell and will add valuable insight to the process. You won't be disappointed with Paul.
