Communication was excellent from everyone involved in the process, from arranging first viewing to picking up the keys. Jeremy, Helen and Emma were quick to respond to queries and were extremely knowledgeable. A special shout out to Emma, who followed the sale from start to finish, updating me at every step, reassuring me that the sale was progressing, no matter what obstacles came along.

Laura contacted me promptly after I put my enquiry in on the property, organised a viewing and coached us through all the admin to secure it. Then Jenancya called to introduce herself with friendly and professional manor and has responded to any questions, queries and problems we have with an understanding manor and continued to pursue our landlord to ensure a resolution.- 16th Mar 2026 (26 days ago)David and the team gave a 10/10 service from beginning and to the end! Kept us updated throughout and checked in when needed. Transition was seamless and I will be using these guys for any future purchases and sales. Thank you guys

I approached a few before deciding to use Langford Russell but when I spoke with Oli for the first time he inspired me with his confidence and pleasant manner making me feel instantly welcome . When I was in a position to put a property on the market Sienna looked after all the arrangements going forward. From my first meeting, she was very helpful with a calm attitude and professional manner. Whatever questions I had, it was never a problem for her to deal with and she always had a quick reply . I was impressed with the way she kept me up-to-date with reports from each viewing. Sienna made the experience totally stress free She communicated regularly with feedback and settling any queries I may have had . Sienna is a huge asset to her company and I felt she was generally interested in selling the property as if it was her own . Thank you for all you have done .

4th Feb 2026 (9 weeks ago)We had a very disappointing experience renting through Henley Charles. At the start of the tenancy, communication was fairly responsive. However, once serious maintenance issues began to arise, their responsiveness declined significantly. We are a family of three who were looking for a safe, long-term family home. We have a young child, and therefore the standards of the property needed to be extremely good. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Throughout our tenancy, we reported major disrepair issues including roof leaks, water coming through ceilings, damaged guttering, and later water leaking from the bathroom into the kitchen. Eventually, water was dripping from a ceiling light fitting and onto the gas cooker, which is extremely dangerous. Brown damp patches and mould began forming in affected areas. This is deeply concerning, as mould and damp can cause serious health problems, especially for babies and young children. Despite repeatedly reporting these issues from November 2025 onwards, no effective repairs were carried out. A roofer was supposedly instructed but never attended, and our follow-up messages and emails were often ignored or left on read. We constantly had to chase for updates, which was stressful and exhausting. We were originally told this would be a long-term tenancy, which is why we invested our own money into improving the property (new carpets, garden improvements, filling gaps and holes to improve insulation and prevent rodents, etc.). We heard, saw, and even disturbed rodents coming through holes in the kitchen units, so we sealed these areas ourselves using cement and expanding foam. These improvements remain in place and improved the condition of the property. Later, we were informed the landlord wanted to sell the property. During this period, it felt as though repairs were deliberately avoided. The explanation that the landlord was abroad should not prevent urgent repairs, especially as we always paid our rent on time and fulfilled our obligations as tenants. To make matters worse, they are now attempting to deduct money from our deposit due to a small amount of expanding foam on laminate flooring inside a kitchen unit. This does not require replacement or repair — it simply needs cleaning. The substance has not caused irreparable damage. There is also spare brand-new laminate flooring stored in the kitchen cupboard if replacement were genuinely needed. We always paid our rent on time and took pride in the home. If anyone would like proof of our messages, emails, videos, and photos of the disrepair that was never fixed, we have everything fully documented and can provide it. Based on our experience, we would not recommend Henley Charles to tenants.

Theo was amazing ...he went out of his way to answer all my questions, guide me through the process, and make everything stress-free. Even though I’m only moving in six days, I already feel confident and excited about my new home thanks to the support I’ve received. 18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
23rd Mar 2026 (19 days ago)I recently sold my property through Wisdom Estate Agents and couldn’t be happier with the experience. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to sell their home. Matt handled the viewings and was outstanding throughout the entire process. I had actually made and had an offer accepted on a new house before finding a buyer for my own property, which could have been quite stressful. However, Wisdom Estate Agents took a very proactive approach to selling my home and were still able to secure a buyer in time to keep the chain moving smoothly. Matt kept me consistently updated on viewings, offers, and the progression of the sale, making everything feel well-managed and under control. His communication and dedication truly set him apart—easily the best agent I’ve worked with, and someone who genuinely puts the customer first. Rob was also fantastic—he took excellent photos for the listing and kept me updated throughout as well. Both of them made what can often be a stressful process feel straightforward and positive. Overall, the level of customer service from Wisdom Estate Agents is exceptional—far quicker, more responsive, and more personal than what I’ve experienced with larger commercial estate agents. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
