She responded to emails, proposed a solution, checked and followed up with the tenant and the payment system. The before 9am on Saturday morning, the first day of her official holiday/time off she checked to ensure payment had been made, and cleared payment on the system for me. This resulted in me being able to meet my mortgage payment on time. Thank you Jasmine I really appreciate what you did for me.

13th Sep 2024 (29 days ago)We rented a place with Martin and co. for two years, the whole time they were professional and responded quickly and informatively if we had any problems. When the property we were in was being sold by the landlord they were very quick to let us know as well as being helpful and supportive in the process of moving out. The property itself was in very good condition when we moved in and in a wonderful location. Only reason not at 5 stars is there were a couple of maintenance issues that were never sorted but they did not have major impacts of quality of living there so I'm not too mad, and a slight delay in return of deposit but nothing concerning. Absolutely one of the best letting agencies I have used and I have used quite a lot!

Excellent communication, efficient, enthusiastic and always willing to take our wishes into consideration. I would specifically like to thank Adam M for his patience, knowledge and kindness throughout this process. Will definitely be using Miles and Barr again.
3rd Sep 2024 (6 weeks ago)Consummate Professionals with that human touch: Leanne and her team at Savills in Cranbrook were alongside us all the way in the sale of our house, offering personalised, calm and knowledgeable advice (& never pushy in their approach). We found everyone involved to be fantastic from start to finish, from Russell, Chloe, Katya (viewings were seamless) and Sarah who regularly picked up the baton. Leanne in particular, went above and beyond in seamlessly coordinating it all and our exchange process, always sensitive to our personal circumstances and timelines. We fully recommend them and would use them again. Thank you all!
12th Sep 2024 (30 days ago)I was a second time buyer living in a 1 bedroom with a baby. I was currently on maternity leave and feeling emotional and vulnerable in my situation. I reached out to a few local estate agents but felt there was a lot of overwhelming pressure to go with this one or that. I was recommended TMS by a family friend and Luke came over to my home. I thought Luke was very relaxed and had been the only agent that did not fill me with fear or dread and was very honest to me. He was very relaxed and knew his stuff! Luke is very professional, and I thought he was just a genuine nice person too. Luke took the time to support me getting my property on the market and was very patient with me and I did make a few teak's here and there. I never felt like a pest and each time I reached out to TMS they were brilliant and would listen and take the time to get things how I wanted them to look with my photos and my ad etc. Lee, lewis and Serafina have always been very polite and helpful with calls whenever I would ask for updates. I had some viewings and each person showing my home was very respectful and I would always get an update the next day. My property was on the market during a difficult time, and I was getting worried about my situation. Melissa was brilliant and ensured that we make some more tweaks and before I knew it, I had 2 offers and almost a 3rd! My sells progressor Nicky has been superwomen. She has the most incredible customer service skills and negotiation skills. Nicky reassured me at every step and always got back to me about what was happening. I felt very reassured and supported in the whole process. It is a stressful time and to have TMS I felt they took a lot of pressure off. I also had Tammy from the mortgage shop, and she is worth her weight in gold! She has also been absolutely brilliant and also just listened to me when I was having a bit of a moment! I would recommend TMS to anyone. I genuinely felt valued, and I got my money’s worth. You will not regret it.

Kyle conducted our viewing, and was exceptionally professional, courteous, knowledgeable and friendly, facilitating the process in an unhurried fashion and answering all our questions fully. In addition, the email and telephone communication we had with Suzanne at the branch, was similarly professional, approachable, and extremely helpful. Real assets to you company.

They were on hand to answer all of my questions (no question was a silly question) and kept in touch with me throughout the whole process. I felt I was their number one priority and that they really cared.

11th Sep 2024 (4 weeks ago)We just sold and bought our new house through Woodward & Bishopp and cannot recommend them enough. Definitely the most personable estate agents in Whitstable! Bishopp and all the team were absolutely fantastic. Not pushy at all like many other competitors- and it really felt like they cared about us and all their other clients. All of the viewings we attended/ had on our property were always on time (that goes a long way!) and we were always provided with information on the properties. It also felt like all of the team were updated on our sale and knew what was going on which is great. Thanks again Bishopp and your team! ????

18th Mar 2024 (6 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
26th Sep 2024 (16 days ago)I have felt the Miles and Barr Team have been Amazing from the first meeting with Rueben Shanley - Tait who showed us around Properties who was polite and kind to then meeting, Maddie Cleary the Sale negotiator who was a power house of information and made us feel in safe hands. When our sale moved on to the next level I was sad to not be dealing with Maddie and then we were placed into the very capable hands of Melissa Scarsbrook the Sales Progressor. Melissa was amazing as soon as something was going to happen or changes as we were in a chain we would be informed. As a company Miles and Barr's Team Maddie and Melissa are outstanding in how they make you feel comfortable. Very professional Staff who go the extra mile to help achieve satisfaction. 16th Jul 2024 (13 weeks ago)Slow to get anyone interested in property at the beginning very poor advice on how to dress the property. We had to take our own decisions on improving the interior before anyone showed interest ie painting walls and woodwork, removing some furniture to make house look less cluttered and replacing damaged internal doors. Following which we had someone show interest.
