Unfortunately, we are still without heating since 22/12/2025, which is unacceptable, especially during winter.
The plumbing company used (RT Heating) advised that the issue required a simple Magna filter replacement. We were then told the part would take a week to arrive, which raised concerns. After contacting the same supplier myself, I was informed the part is available with next-day delivery, suggesting unnecessary delays.
I don’t wish to place all the blame on Belvoir, however they need to hold landlords and contractors to a higher standard to ensure repairs—particularly essential services like heating—are dealt with promptly and efficiently. This situation has dragged on far longer than it should have.

Very poor experience with Belvoir’s maintenance handling. I reported a leaking boiler with dropping pressure at the beginning of December and followed up again before Christmas, including calling the emergency helpline explaining that’s there’s no heating. Despite this, nothing was resolved.
Weeks later, I was contacted by the maintenance team, who were completely unaware of my previous reports. This lack of communication and record-keeping is extremely concerning, particularly when dealing with essential services like heating and hot water.
Due to the ongoing delay, I had no choice but to arrange for a boiler engineer myself to reduce the leaking, which cost me £20 out of pocket. This should never have been necessary had the issue been handled properly in the first place.
The problem remains unresolved, and the delays and disorganisation have caused unnecessary stress. I would not recommend Belvoir based on my experience.

I hoped for my queries to be followed up. A check list to see whether important jobs were complete would be useful. Times just ticking along and I’m still suffering with rodents years on.
