14th Feb 2025 (6 weeks ago)WOW..... What can one say. If you are looking for an Agent to sell your beloved property in Worcestershire and surrounding areas, look no further than G Herbert Banks. From the outset, Tim Gaston and Maxine Holder have held our hands gently throughout the process of putting our beloved home on the market. Tim has gently guided us and took great interest in our property from the outset, learning about it's history with it being a listed building, to the huge renovation it undertook some eleven years ago. Tim collated all the necessary details and refined them with sublime simplicity and perfection. Maxine Holder is a force to be reckoned with, not because of a harsh hand or tongue but on the speed that that lady completes tasks, Maxine is like greased lightening. Even when emails arepinging right, left and centre Maxine can keep all the balls in the air and the plates spinning at the same time. Maxine can multi task for sure and switch and swap and revert with all instructions and she doesn't need telling twice Maxine is a a true asset to G Herbert Banks. I'm not one for leaving reviews, but I felt it would be a travesty not to. I've pushed on several occasions only because of pressure being pushed on my shoulders and every time G Herbert Banks have stepped it up another gear. Don't go looking anywhere folks for a Company to sell your home, G Herbert Banks deliver and then some. They get the highest order of stars in my opinion ???? ???? ???? ???? ???? A trusted Company that we have worked with before, but every experience is unique and tailored to your individual needs whether you are buying or selling a property. Thank you lovely people.
25th Mar 2025 (3 days ago)I’ve just bought a home with Nock Deighton and as a first time buyer things can be a little confusing or overwhelming at times. Both Olivia and Abi were absolutely brilliant in helping me along the process and were always there if any assistance was needed. They were both always very friendly and helpful whenever I had a question and nothing was ever an issue at all for them. They’d always give me their time to help explain things further as well as pointing me in the right direction where needed, which is so valuable when you’re unsure what you need to do next.
15th Feb 2022 (3 years ago)Shelley provided us with an excellent service from start to finish. We had a property that was relatively easy to sell, but slightly complicated by the fact it was going through probate. Clear communication with potential buyers ensured that there were no slip ups with a slightly longer than usual sale process. We could have appointed other agents for a lower fee, but I think the coverage and marketing from Knight Frank ensured we maximised the sale price and even after any additional agent fees we likely received the best price we could. Also good work from Giselle the sales progressor in seeing it all over the line.
19th Aug 2024 (7 mo. ago)Dixons were great from start to finish. We were first time buyers and very anxious stepping into the unknown with buying our first house. The team supported us throughout and no question was a stupid question. When our first property wasn’t progressing, due to the sellers, they were straight on the phone as soon as they found a suitable alternative property which met our needs. We managed to view before it went on the market and had the offer accepted within a few days. I could not recommend Dixons any higher. Big thanks to Christine and the entire team for their continued support and help with buying our first home.

I can’t thank the team enough for their professionalism, efforts, kindness and rapid turn around! The ladies over had contact with so far (Kristina, Hollie and Lisa) have been faultless, communication is excellent and they seem to genuinely care about their buyers and venders.

18th Jan 2025 (10 weeks ago)Overall average, agent understood urge to move and sell and overpriced the property and did not communicate with us weekly or fortnightly as stated in contract. Had to contact agent, also due to lack of interest they did two viewings for people who were not even on the market yet. Staff were pleasant and were charming enough, maybe due to the state of the market and interest rate rise this will have factored into the reason they could not sell the property, however lack of communication and plan of action lead us to take off the market with them.

On the last viewing told us we had secured it in the Saturday only to be told on the Tuesday that there was a higher bid. We have been brought in as a bidding baite in this property. Avoid this agent! No office to even call in

Always very quick to respond to queries and issues, reliable and were never overbearing. Overall a very pleasant renting experience through Hayden Estates.

Andrew Grant Stourbridge and Wyre Forest - Stourbridge
Unit 1 and unit 2 Cupola, Spetchley, WR5 1RS(3 reviews)31st Aug 2024 (6 mo. ago)We were buying our dream house through Andrew Grant in 2023 and they were selling ours as well, to supposedly make the process easier. I would never use or recommend Andrew Grant for either selling or buying property. Andrew Grant insisted on a £5000 reservation fee for the house we wanted to buy (more than the normal £3000). Andrew Grant then put the house (we thought we were buying) back on the market after just 4 months, but refused to give us our £5000 reservation fee back. At the same time they changed the wording across their website from “the property ‘will’ be marked as Sold Subject to Contract” to “the property ‘may’ be marked as Sold Subject to Contract” after the buyer pays the reservation fee. The matter is now being dealt with by The Property Ombudsman and Trading Standards will hopefully be involved. Buyers beware- do not leave a reservation fee with Andrew Grant! Any buyers or sellers considering using Andrew Grant should read their T&Cs very very carefully before entering into any agreement with them and keep all copies of any correspondence.
