Dean Grove came out to give us a valuation and tell us about their services, he was helpful and knowledgable and all round a great guy. They were efficient with organising viewings and sold our property within a week for full asking price. The team in halesowen have been wonderful and i could not recommend them enough!

From the very beginning they demonstrated professionalism and a genuine commitment to ensuring the entire process ran smoothly. Nick was always available to answer questions, address concerns promptly, and provide clear guidance whenever needed. I would confidently recommend this company to anyone.
15th Feb 2022 (4 years ago)Shelley provided us with an excellent service from start to finish. We had a property that was relatively easy to sell, but slightly complicated by the fact it was going through probate. Clear communication with potential buyers ensured that there were no slip ups with a slightly longer than usual sale process. We could have appointed other agents for a lower fee, but I think the coverage and marketing from Knight Frank ensured we maximised the sale price and even after any additional agent fees we likely received the best price we could. Also good work from Giselle the sales progressor in seeing it all over the line.
1st Jun 2026 (13 days ago)I would give this company 0 stars if I could. My mum was interested in arranging a viewing for a property and contacted the company several times. Each time, she was told that someone would get back to her shortly, but no one ever did. Despite multiple follow-ups, her enquiries were never properly addressed, and the property has now been sold. We are extremely disappointed with the level of customer service provided. The lack of communication and failure to follow up made it seem as though our interest in the property was not taken seriously. When my mum called to express her disappointment, all she received was a brief apology with no real explanation or effort to resolve the issue. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this company to others. The service was unprofessional, frustrating, and far below what we expected.

5th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)Amanda at Lee Shaw went above and beyond to get our purchase to the finish line. Despite the sellers solicitors prevarication and delay along the way, she helped us abd our solicitor get over the line. Huge thanks to Amanda and the team

7th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)unfortunately my experience with this agency has been consistently disappointing. Many of the properties they advertise look great and are reasonably priced, which is why I kept applying and contacting them repeatedly. However, despite numerous enquiries, I have never once been offered a viewing. The process is always the same: you call about a property, they ask you to complete an application form, you send all your information, and then you receive an automatic email saying someone will contact you shortly. But nobody ever does. The most frustrating part is the complete lack of communication. Other agencies usually contact applicants to explain whether viewings are available, whether the property already has too many applicants, or whether the application was unsuccessful. This agency simply ignores people after they submit their details. I even contacted them multiple times to ask for clarification, and each time I received the same scripted responses such as “we cannot offer viewings to everyone.” I understand that perfectly. The issue is not rejection — the issue is the lack of professionalism and communication. For context, I have a good rental history, and I currently rent a property that actually costs more than many of the properties I applied for through this agency. I am financially able to afford the rent, so the complete lack of response is difficult to understand. I also know several local friends (families) who tried to rent through this agency and had similarly negative experiences. They described the agency as completely unhelpful and said the process caused them a huge amount of unnecessary stress.If applicants are told someone will contact them, then they should receive an update, even if the answer is no. People are left waiting with no information at all. I also found the staff quite dismissive and unhelpful during phone conversations. Communication felt rushed and unfriendly rather than supportive. I genuinely feel this agency needs to improve its customer service, transparency, and communication with applicants. A simple update or honest explanation would save people a lot of time and stress but they usually say:”We have no time for that”!!!Actually it’s part of your job!

11th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)I hadn't experienced the buying and selling market for a number of years, so to enter with an established firm I knew and trusted was essential. From the initial consultation to trying to sell, they were always responsive and helpful. As the chain (although short) started to become slow and non-responsive, they still tried to do all they could. I would particularly like to single out Terri for her attention to detail and empathy when dealing with the sale of my departed parents property. She really worked over and above to make it happen. Thank you.
10th Jun 2026 (4 days ago)We recently purchased a property marketed by Hills. We viewed a few places and dealt with different agents and I have to say, Hills were one of the best! They followed up after our viewing and even though technically we weren’t their clients, they were always helpful and friendly. If I was to put our house on the market they would definitely be on top of the list of agencies I’d consider going with.

11th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)Very disappointing experience dealing with this estate agent and landlord from start to finish. When I initially moved into the property, the condition was already far below an acceptable standard. I had to pay for new carpets throughout the property myself because the existing carpets were in such poor condition and the underlay was literally stuck to the floor. The oven had clearly been heavily burnt by the previous tenant, including the oven elements, which I had to spend time cleaning myself before it was even properly usable. The bathroom also required work, including re-grouting of the tiles, which they expected me to deal with myself rather than resolving professionally. Over the years I repeatedly raised concerns regarding the condition of the property, especially the front door, poor insulation, and bathroom issues, yet very little was ever done. I have message trails dating back to 2019 confirming that a new front door would be fitted, along with further confirmation 2–3 years ago that the landlord had authorised the work to be carried out. Despite this, nothing was ever completed. EPC inspections were also carried out over the past two years where the same issues were pointed out and photographed, but again no action followed. The property suffered badly from drafts due to the poor condition of the front door and non-double-glazed windows, making it difficult to properly heat the living space during colder months. To make matters worse, I later received incorrect information regarding my rent payments, stating I had been paying £700 and that this would increase to £750, despite my agreed rent being £650, which I have written proof of. Now, after all of this, they are attempting to deduct money from my deposit, which honestly says everything about how they operate. Communication, maintenance, and overall professionalism have been extremely poor throughout my tenancy. What a joke. I would strongly advise others to stay away.

3rd Oct 2025 (8 mo. ago)Absolutely amazing service from Charlotte and the team at Toners! Sixteen weeks exactly from us putting our offer in to going to collect the keys to our new home today. Nothing was ever too much trouble and I never felt like I was being a nuisance when I asked questions (I asked a lot!) We visited various estate agents within the area and Toners were by far the most friendly and helpful we came across and made our first home buying experience both positive and straightforward - would definitely recommend!

28th May 2026 (17 days ago)Just no! There customer service is beyond awful. There specialists are not worth there money. As proof I had two copies of 1 item, one valued at halls one valued by another firm. The halls valuation was less than 100 pounds. Yet the other was valued and sold for 800 pounds. Both items where I. Identical condition. I would not trust this company again. I should point out both items where sold in the Shrewsbury area. So the difference cannot be put down to regional differences. Be very wary if planning to or currently using this firm.
