2nd Apr 2022 (2 years ago)The sale was quite quick and the agent does try to get to your asking price, it’s just how they handle the after selling process is not as professional. They should have an admin person responsible for after sale process if the sales advisor is more keen on securing other sales

Given the emotional nature of buying/selling properties it is essential to have a calm, persuasive agent who finds practical solutions to problems that arise - James frequently demonstrated all these qualities. I do not hesitate recommending his services to others. They offer fantastic value.
18th Apr 2024 (27 days ago)I didn't have a perfect experience with Franklyn James in terms if number of viewings although they were quick to advertise the property and the listing was strong. The market was incredibly slow too so it's hard to say if any other agent would have performed better.
5th Sep 2023 (8 mo. ago)Amazingly bad service We rented a complete owned property for just over 2 years. In that time we had about 5 property managers. This should say all you need to know. Each one not knowing what had gone on before. Given the fact a week before we thought we were moving in we had to chase them to find out nothing had moved forward and they were waiting on us to send documentation (we were not told). Throughout the 2 years they were never really there to help you. After we have left they have tried to keep around 75% of our deposit which is absolutely insane. Missing furniture that never existed in the first place, the most expensive cleaning quote imaginable and £50 to remove a single chair. These are some of the excuses on the quote. Try and avoid complete properties when possible!!

23rd Jan 2022 (2 years ago)In an industry which is among the five least trusted professions, Hamptons Canary Wharf, but specifically Jack, are raising the bar. I am completing my first home purchase and Jack took an honest selling approach from the beggining, understanding the type of property that I was after. While real estate promotions are usually generic, he highlighted this property to me knowing it checked a number of points while was also transparent on not selling too hard on properties which were outside budget/criteria, which resulted in greater trust. Further, I worked with Capital Private Finance where Avneet provided me with a number of options, while Paul and Kevin at Adams Kaye would periodically check in, pushed the seller's solicitors, and kept a good cadence of communication. Happy with the combined efforts, will look to re-use and recommend.

Her attention to detail and efficiency on organizing the viewings, as well as her professionalism and diligence on making sure only suitable properties would be offered to me, made this search much smoother and less time consuming. Although I've managed to come to terms with my current Landlord and ended by renewing lease on my current flat, I appreciate her time and availability during the past weeks and would not hesitate on recommending her services to any friends who need to rent a new flat in London. 25th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)Lived in a flat provided by the agency for almost 2 years. The state of the flat when I moved in wasn’t great and everything broke. Boiler broke several times, once for 3 weeks over the winter and the agency didn’t seem to mind it too much and they “generously” let £50 off my rent. All my heaters broke as well and had to be changed. The agency couldn’t tell me, who my electricity provider was when I was trying to change providers and the actual electricity meter was registered under the wrong address so it was impossible to change it. Before moving out they asked me to provide the flat for a 4 hour hours long viewing sessions, which I agreed to and the girl who was carrying out the viewings locked herself into the bathroom, disturbing my expensive theatre experience. Luckily an emergency locksmith got her out leaving a mess. Whenever anything broke, the handymen would leave a mess and I got to clean. When moving out, the procedure the estate agency has was extremely stressful, they ended up deducting for cleaning after the flat was professionally cleaned. They ended up deducting for minor damages for things that were already used and not in great condition, when I moved in. I would stay away from this company in the future.
