Within just a couple of weeks, we had both purchased and sold our property, all thanks to their hard work and expertise. Their communication is AMAZING, not only with us but also with interested buyers. They are super responsive, friendly, and consistently go above and beyond. Throughout the whole process we truly felt that they cared about our future and were invested in helping us make the right move. A huge thank you to Michael and the rest of the team — we couldn’t recommend you highly enough!

Their staff are personable, professional, and genuinely keen to help. Recently, when my landlord decided to sell their property, the team at Murray & Currie were very supportive and made what could have been a stressful transition much more manageable. I truly appreciate their help and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and caring letting agency.

Contacted them to help with buying a new build property in September, everything was smooth at first, was told my case was being passed onto the conveyancing team on 24th October and they'd be in contact in 7-14 days. 31 days later I've not heard from them at all. Have rang multiple times only to be told the conveyancing team is busy every time, and they will email them to call me back - except no one has ever actually called me back! Really dissatisfied with the complete lack of communication - I do understand that things take time but to have absolutely no correspondence during such a stressful time period is just completely unacceptable. Wouldn't recommend them for purchasing a house.
3rd Nov 2023 (2 years ago)(While the company did finally provide compensation, it's important to note that I still experienced a significant opportunity cost as a result of their actions.) It has undeniably been the most regrettable experience of my lifetime, dealing with a solicitor team that exhibited a severe lack of professionalism and courtesy. Initially, I placed my trust in them based on their positive Google reviews, which now appear to be misleading and have led to significant frustration and inconvenience on my part. The solicitor in question was Shari, who astonishingly took a full year to complete the anti-money laundering check, despite my having submitted all required documents promptly. To compound matters, she repeatedly requested the same information, leading to redundant submissions. Regrettably, she ceased all communication, failing to respond to both my emails and those from the seller's side. My attempts to reach her went unanswered for two months until she seemingly disappeared without a trace. I was dismayed to find myself in such a predicament. In desperation, I enlisted the assistance of the estate agent, who contacted Joni, the National Head of Conveyancing. However, this interaction proved to be equally disheartening, as Joni not only displayed a lack of professionalism but also declined to provide any insight into the unilateral breach of contract, responding in a profane manner. I strongly advise against engaging with this company. As a result of their inefficiency, my funds remained in limbo within my bank account, as I had initially believed they could promptly resolve their business matters. Consequently, I have incurred substantial financial losses due to the failure of Simpson & Marwick to deliver on their commitments.

Our home was on the market in no time, and the photographs were absolutely stunning — they really helped showcase the property and contributed to a quick sale. Communication throughout the entire process was excellent, with Dee and the team keeping us fully informed from start to finish. The commission was very reasonable too, which we really appreciated. Selling a home isn’t something we do often, so it’s reassuring to know we can rely on such a professional and trustworthy team. We’re genuinely grateful for all their support. Broonie & Dawn

27th Nov 2025 (7 weeks ago)Was trying to sell my house and switched from a perfectly good agent to Savills as I was led to believe that they have a "black book" of clients that other agents don't have. Was informed that "gone are the days when buyers come to you, we need to go out and find the buyers and we provide specific training to our team". Well, they did nothing of the sort. Extremely poor service in the marketing and getting me on the market. Poor or lack of communications. Numerous no shows and viewers ghosting. Complained after 1 week to Ben Fox, Director of Commercial. He didn't even bother following up to ensure their service had improved. Complained again in writing a few weeks later and not only did I not receive a response or even an acknowledgement from Ben Fox, my main contact John Forsyth cut all contact. I truly believe that I would have received a super service if my property was worth £1m plus. They are not interested in you otherwise.- 12th Jul 2022 (3 years ago)Horrible agency, especially the agent's attitude when calling them. Faked the inventory report when I moved in, everything is a mess when I moved in.

The entire process of purchasing my property was seamless, thanks to the brilliant work of Cameron, Hazel and team. He was proactive and provided thorough updates, always taking the time to provide easy-to-understand summaries. 16th Dec 2025 (5 weeks ago)Throughout my property search as a first time buyer, all the staff at Monarch were incredibly helpful and always on hand to assist. From the initial negotiations stages with Clare I was kept right and given great advice from the outset. However, a special mention has to be given to Annemarie in particular. Whilst my personal process had a fair few forks in the road from things out with either of our control, she was an absolute star. She helped put everything at ease with so many situations and understood exactly how my overthinking mind worked and how over analytical I am, which helped me immensely. She was always on the other end of the phone and answered all of my questions(and there were lots!) Genuinely could not have done it without her, I hopefully won’t need too much legal advice in future but if I do I will certainly use Annemarie for it. 5 stars doesn’t do her service and patience with me justice but couldn’t recommend her enough!!
