The estate agent who was managing my property had never viewed the property. In managing the viewings it was down to the owner to conduct the viewings or be charged for someone from Move8 to do it.

After recieving a whole range of valuations from different estate agents, and Glenn Anderson provided good advise and really helped with getting to the right price to go to market with. Ellie Graham was very professional and communicative in managing the viewings and sale agreement. Overall, everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful - really allieviating a lot of the stress involved with selling a property.

They walked me through all of the steps of offering and then purchasing the property and were very transparent from the start about the cost of their services. Excellent communication throughout the process, quick response times and happy to help with my endless questions. My solicitor Susan Oates and property manager Jane Yarrington both went above and beyond to answer all of my queries, and their hard work meant that all the paperwork went through quickly without any issues. I would highly recommend their services.
3rd Nov 2023 (2 years ago)(While the company did finally provide compensation, it's important to note that I still experienced a significant opportunity cost as a result of their actions.) It has undeniably been the most regrettable experience of my lifetime, dealing with a solicitor team that exhibited a severe lack of professionalism and courtesy. Initially, I placed my trust in them based on their positive Google reviews, which now appear to be misleading and have led to significant frustration and inconvenience on my part. The solicitor in question was Shari, who astonishingly took a full year to complete the anti-money laundering check, despite my having submitted all required documents promptly. To compound matters, she repeatedly requested the same information, leading to redundant submissions. Regrettably, she ceased all communication, failing to respond to both my emails and those from the seller's side. My attempts to reach her went unanswered for two months until she seemingly disappeared without a trace. I was dismayed to find myself in such a predicament. In desperation, I enlisted the assistance of the estate agent, who contacted Joni, the National Head of Conveyancing. However, this interaction proved to be equally disheartening, as Joni not only displayed a lack of professionalism but also declined to provide any insight into the unilateral breach of contract, responding in a profane manner. I strongly advise against engaging with this company. As a result of their inefficiency, my funds remained in limbo within my bank account, as I had initially believed they could promptly resolve their business matters. Consequently, I have incurred substantial financial losses due to the failure of Simpson & Marwick to deliver on their commitments.

They used a mix of Telephone and email which was perfect for a busy person like myself. Valuation was accurate and there was plenty footfall in the property to see it go under offer. Great value for money and would recommend.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

This is the second time we’ve used Truscott to sell and both times have been smooth. Florence and Stephen have been particularly helpful. Would highly recommend them to anyone!

Jayne gives informed and realistic advice, taking excellent photos/videos for listing. Fiona is consistently diligent and went above and beyond to ensure we could get our keys on time. They were consistently helpful, approachable, and professional, going out of their way to ensure everything ran as smoothly as possible. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cullertons to anyone.
