What makes a great company is the people and the whole team at Sheridans just go above and beyond, every member of their team just couldn’t do enough to help, extremely professional and very personable. We sold through Sheridans they kept us informed throughout, every viewing we were always given feedback, they offered to do all viewings if we were not available. They give you 100% confidence Added bonus After Sheridans sold our property we were extremely fortunate that the new home we purchased was also being offered through Sheridans. Yet again the team worked extremely hard to help us throughout the whole process, putting us in touch with solicitors etc. We got to know the whole team who always made us feel so welcome. We would like to say a massive thank you to Tim Sheridan, Matt, Kathryn D, Kathryn C, Jo, Iain, Brooke, Bella and not forgetting the office dog, you are all absolutely amazing. 2nd Jun 2024 (16 weeks ago)I read some of the reviews before deciding to go with Bedford, so we was excited to phone and arrange selling through them, James said he would email to confirm our appointment, that did not happen, Emerson arrived on the day, ensuring us we would get weekly updates, that was 4 weeks ago and since then we haven't had a phone call, text message or an email, to say we are disappointed with Bedford is an understatement. I'm sorry to say I would not recommend this estate agent
27th Aug 2024 (23 days ago)Linda was very helpful, having to pick up the reigns after previous members of staff, who had been dealing with the sal,e left. The sale was not straight forward as it meant dealing with the housing association joint owners who seemed to go out of their way to make life difficult!. Full marks for perseverance and managing to maintain a cool and very professional approach. I would definitely recommend Linda and the Bury St Edmunds office.

A friendly and professional service right from the start, with great advice on the marketing of our property and excellent communication every step of the way resulting in a completed sale in just 3 months after it first went on the market. 27th Jul 2024 (8 weeks ago)One of the waste auctions houses I have ever bid beware if you don't pay on time they will raid your bank account and take there money with out your authorisation and then when they have there money because you were late threaten to resale abd if you think that's bad they then block you by the saleroom so take my advice avoided like the plague ray carr

It wasn't the most straightforward of circumstances given the current economic climate, but Lewis showed great resilience and achieved a great end result for us including the exact kind of buyers we could have hoped for. Thanks for all your help!

If we have to rent again or buy tomorrow, they’ll still be top on the list. Patient, understanding, humane yet very professional. 18th Mar 2024 (6 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

She acted way beyond what you’d expect of an Estate Agent and kept us updated every step of the way - she often told us what was happening before our solicitors did. I can honestly recommend this agent without question. Super, super service, thanks again Jade and team.
13th Jul 2024 (10 weeks ago)No idea how this estate agent sells houses or if they only earmark properties they post for specific clients/buyers already known to the business. Very oddly run, you phone up and are put through to an admin team of sorts, never an agent. They will take your details and say they will pass it onto the agent who will allegedly phone you themselves, they won’t give you the agents details either so you have to just wait for this call. It’s been just over a week of me trying to view a particular property, phoned in multiple times to no avail. - Update, if you find out who the agent dealing with the property is, you can try find their contact details on the actual website, the lady I dealt with was actually sound & treated me the way I’d expect to be, like 90% of other estate agent companies would’ve.
6th Sep 2024 (13 days ago)Over-valued by the estate agent who first met us, and got the deal of selling the house, then I haven't heard much from them since, it's been someone else ringing me with updates (a little too many to be honest, especially then there's 'we're waiting to hear back from them' or similar). Once a week with all the updates would have been fine.

He took the time to call us in the US with available properties - something no other agent has ever done. 20th Aug 2024 (30 days ago)I spoke with Vanessa in property management with regards to an issue with my key fobs and its been over 6 weeks and the matter is still outstanding. Vanessa was very rude and abrupt. It was the first time in 6 weeks asking for an update. I don't appreciate being spoken to like that. I have dealt with other colleagues in the branch and they were professional but Vanessa has unfortunately spoiled the reputation of the branch.
