10th Jun 2025 (2 days ago)What began as a promising partnership with Haart as my selling agent in Lincoln swiftly became a source of significant frustration. Simple communication proved surprisingly difficult. I routinely had to initiate contact to get feedback after viewings, and was often unaware of cancelled appointments. One notable incident involved a Haart sales team member leaving muddy footprints on my carpet. Despite an apology and a promise from the office manager to arrange cleaning, this promise was never kept, and I had to bear the cost and effort of cleaning them myself. My follow-up emails on the matter were completely ignored. It became clear that the Lincoln team struggled with basic seller communication. This consistent inefficiency ultimately led me to change estate agents, and I'm pleased to say my house is now sold. The depth of their internal communication problems was underscored when, a fortnight after I'd already ended my contract, Haart actually sent me a letter claiming they had a buyer, and a subsequent conversation with their valuation team revealed they had no knowledge I'd even been a client and they didn’t even have an interested party.

27th May 2025 (16 days ago)On the letting side I never use again, unprofessional and constantly make mistakes…. The selling side is good, communication not often the best in certain areas but the sales team do their best
16th Apr 2025 (8 weeks ago)WARNING! Avoid at all costs. There's are some good letting agents in Lincoln unfortunately my experience with Martin and co was terrible. The staff are rude and unprofessional and blatantly lie to try to steal their tenants deposits as can be seen by their reviews (72% giving a 1 star review) for the company as a whole! Companies that routinely try to steal from their tenants, some of whom are vulnerable and/or cannot afford to wait many weeks to get the DPS to step in and act on their behalf, should be outed.
20th May 2025 (23 days ago)Excellent service from start to finish. I used a lot of different estate agents throughout the process of buying my first property and Bell Watson was by far the best. Would highly recommend and cannot thank Collette enough for the excellent service throughout. Kept me up to date and did a lot of chasing solicitors for me. Highly recommend.
31st Jul 2023 (1 year ago)Living in Bridlington and having to sell my parents property in Louth I was unsure of which estate agent to use , however , I just recalled that a board with "John Taylor " on had been outside my grandparents property way back so I decided on that. What a great decision that was, John Taylor have been exceptional from day one to completion, always at the end of the phone with help and advice, great communications as to when viewings would be ( the property was empty and the keys left with John Taylor, and a great understanding that this was not just a house sale to me but the sale of my family home for the last 69 years, the house I grew up in and called home for all those years. I cannot fault them in any way , the only word I can use is "exceptional" Special thanks to Anne who was outstanding , she is a star. kindest regards to all at John Taylor and many many thanks . Michelle was superb to deal with and gave us some great recommendations to support us. I cannot recommend any more highly - first class ! Thank you !

I’d been in contact with Oli for a few months whilst looking for a property and he was very proactive in letting me know of any new properties coming to the market that would be suitable. I am now in the process of purchasing a property listed by Pygott and Crone and Oliver has been so helpful and responsive throughout the process.

17th May 2025 (26 days ago)This is a very late review as I sold a property with you nine months ago.I felt I wanted to write a review because a property in the road I live in has just gone up with the agent I originally used my first thoughts were o dear. I originally had a valuation from you and the other Estate agent and unfortunately decided to go with the other agent what a mistake that was. I had Frazer Cobb out to value my property and he was very helpful. The other Estate agent got me no viewings except on the last day when I was swopping to Starkey and Brown. When I changed to Starkey and Brown I got four viewings and two offers the day after it went on Rightmove, One at near asking price and one at asking price admittedly I had lowered the price slightly on moving agents. I was not pushed to do this by Fraser he would have gone at the same asking price that was my choice. So thank you Fraser, Sophie for negotiating the sale and Angie for progressing the sale.- 19th Dec 2023 (1 year ago)Liam and the team at Lovelle were excellent in helping us to sell our property. Their marketing of our property made the difference, especially during the current slow down of house sales.
