15th Aug 2024 (28 days ago)A very, very irresponsible agency with an extremely poor experience, never recommended. A series of utility accounts were opened without authorization before moving, and bills were issued. What’s more, the deposit should be returned was delayed for month without refund.

27th Aug 2024 (16 days ago)After marketing our property for 4 months with this estate agent we only received 2 viewings and no sale, so we decided to withdraw our property from them. 10 days later the 'for sale' sign has still not been removed!

1st Feb 2024 (7 mo. ago)Overall experience was great. Original valuation was quite over what I expected but the housing market near the end of 2023 was difficult to predict. Mo and Joe were both very supportive and had great communication in regards to the sale.
9th Aug 2024 (5 weeks ago)They should learn some basic customer service etiquettes. Placed an offer but didn't hear back, called them for a second viewing, followed up 3 times but they didn't arrange and kept saying they would call back and we gave up after waiting for two weeks. Same happened with the second property we liked they were offering. Called for viewing, they assured a viewing but didn't confirmed. Called 2nd time, 3rd time and they gave a time but I didn't receive any confirmation. Called again twice next day and they just said viewing is not possible as they were not able to speak with vendor. Never had this kind of experience from Connells except this branch. Pathetic and careless attitude.

Nick, especially, was so unbelievably on-the-ball it took so much of the stress away from the whole thing - everything he shared was very clear and concise, he did everything we asked him/needed him to do super quickly, and he put up with my constant worrying like an absolute champ! I couldn't recommend enough.

31st Oct 2023 (10 mo. ago)Main positive was that the fees were payable only once the property was sold. However, pressure tactics were used which I felt came from mustard agents not the buyers, e.g. completion must be completed by such a date or the buyer pulls out. These ultimatums proved to be meaningless but caused considerable stress and inconvenience.
23rd Aug 2024 (20 days ago)Excellent service from the moment Tom arrived, introduced the wider (exceptional) team, sold our house in record time and then they handheld the whole process right to the very end! Sam and Nick were so proactive that we barely had a question to ask!! Would recommend AL for sure ????????
20th Aug 2024 (23 days ago)They failed to update me regarding my viewing appointment, I wasted hours of travel for nothing. I had an appointment, and the property was let agreed, they hadn't informed or canceled my appointment, left me confused, had to wait for them to open office, and I myself had to cross check with them if the viewing is still happening or not, and it was NOT, and they did NOT update me on this. Wasted money on train and travel. -1

When I moved in to the property it was fully refurbished to an excellent standard. One time during winter I had a problem with my boiler with no heating for a few days. I made one call to 1st Choice and Mark dropped off some electric heaters, untill we got it fixed through Mear's. Anyone looking for property to rent then I would definatley recommend 1st Choice.
