29th May 2024 (8 weeks ago)Worst, third class, cheap service by them. They scam in the name of cleaning. We have to keep sending followup mails and call multiple times to get our deposit back. Even then, they took almost 3 months to return it. @Taylors: I am not expecting your zero value sorry and response.
23rd May 2024 (9 weeks ago)We recently bought a house through Carters estate agents. Had such a wonderful experience, such a friendly, prompt and warm team. Shame to see such bad reviews on the lettings side, as our experience with them buying a house was great.

She showed me the property while explaining everything to the smallest detail , I was so interested in renting it that she went above and beyond and half an hour late it was already off the market Absolutely brilliant, highly recommend to anyone looking for a property regardless if it's for renting or buying.

Just Bought my first house and Tau was very helpful and informative as well as kind and understanding as we went through this process! He has continuously being honest and upstanding even when we haven’t understood a detail he was more than happy to explain us the details again! If my family and I decide to buy another house I hope we can work with Tau again or be lucky enough to find someone as exceptional as he is to help us! He’s is a great asset for the company! I want also to thank Kieran for spending his time by requesting to view the property twice before the completion date took place! Thank you ????

12th Oct 2023 (9 mo. ago)I rented a house with these agents for a year and I would not recommend them. They are very difficult to contact for maintenance issues and some fixes they said would be finished before we even moved in (e.g. fitting curtains in the bedroom, repainting the walls was 'done' very badly as they were different patch colours of white) were never completed during our tenancy. They also tried to withhold our deposit at the end of tenancy due to items being left in the house... even tho I had previously agreed with them that, as the items where there when we arrived, they could stay at no cost to us. Luckily I had emails to back this up so we did get most of our deposit back. But even when we agreed an amount of the deposit to return to us (almost the total sum), when they sent it to my bank it was less and what we had agreed. When I left them know this they did send the rest however I wouldn't trust them at their word so make sure you keep a paper trail and get all agreements in writing.

31st Oct 2023 (8 mo. ago)Main positive was that the fees were payable only once the property was sold. However, pressure tactics were used which I felt came from mustard agents not the buyers, e.g. completion must be completed by such a date or the buyer pulls out. These ultimatums proved to be meaningless but caused considerable stress and inconvenience.
12th Jul 2024 (15 days ago)Sam and Nick have been amazing from start to finish. No house purchase is ever perfect but Sam did amazingly. Kept us up to date constantly and you could really tell she had our best interests at heart. Both Sam and Nick were great communicators between us and the family we were buying from. I can’t recommended these guys and Alexander Lawrence Estate Agents enough.

I can’t really praise them highly enough and would recommend them wholeheartedly to anybody who thinks of buying or selling. I contacted them after I had been let down by another local estate agent. I was at the end of my tether, frustrated and anxious. Even before I became their client, Annabel and Nikki took the time to listen to my experience, offering much needed emotional support as well as their professional expertise. For this I will be forever grateful. I can truly say they went above and beyond! I was able to trust them, and this gave me peace of mind. They guided me through the process of selling my flat, always being there at the end of the phone, always staying positive, being supportive and working tirelessly towards achieving the best outcome for me. I am happy to say the flat has now been sold. Well done Nikki and the team and best wishes for the future!
