We've recently completed the sale so a property and can't thank the staff at Michael Hardy (Wokingham) enough for all their hard work and perseverance in selling a property with a limited market. Barnaby Styer has been most helpful in keeping us up to date with the progress and making sure the property was continually visible on a multitude of different media. Sara Ankerson has been a great help, as have everyone in the Wokingham office. Would recommend them to anyone considering selling a property and looking for a highly professional service. I’m very pleased with his friendly and helping attitude. My process was very lengthy because of the probate, it was frustrating ,but he helped me a lot throughout the process, he was very quick to respond and follow up with my case. These guys been amazing all the way through till my house sold. Great experience with Romans. And also Romans helped me to find other rented property too. Dhruve was taking care of rented side and he's been so helpful too. All over experience definitely deserve 5 stars ?????. Definitely will recommend Romans to friends and family. ????????

3rd Feb 2025 (12 weeks ago)I had an excellent experience with Farmer & Dyer while selling my property. The process was smooth and efficient, thanks to the outstanding support from Simon & Victoria. They guided me every step of the way, making a potentially complex process straight forward and easier to navigate. Their clear communication and willingness to support whenever needed really set them apart. I highly recommend Farmer & Dyer and will use their services again in the future if needed.

8th Jan 2021 (4 years ago)Unfortunately our experience with this estate agent has been really negative. While the landlord has always tried to help, we have never managed to get anything sorted by calling the agency. Our WIFI has not been working for the last 3 weeks at least, however after calling several times and raising 3 incidents on the website, no-one has ever come to fix the issue or even contacted us.
14th Oct 2024 (6 mo. ago)We are having a nightmare with this company. We have now rented a property with them for a year. We turned up to the viewing, sat there for 10 minutes and no one showed. We called the office to be told they forgot to book it in and it would need to be rebooked, we had driven 4 hours to view this property as we were relocating so told them they had to send someone out. We were then rushed through the viewing. We ended up going ahead with the property and had no problems with this part of the process. However, anything that requires any form of management from Martin&Co is horrendous. They have 2 months to complete a gas safety check but left it to the last week they could legally have it done and then Oliver had a go at US for not being able to take a day off work to let them in. We got told it wasn't possible for them to give us a timed slot so we called British Gas ourselves and got told it was possible they just had to request it, M&Co wouldn't, so we did and I was able to work it around my job (but had to organise everything myself). We then got contacted about our yearly inspection, we called and booked it in for my day off, they never showed up. We called to find out that once again, they didn't book it in. We live in Wokingham but half of our communication comes from the Staines branch. We then got emailed 3 days before rent due to say they were changing the account we needed to pay, we went on to set it up and the bank stated it looked like a scam payment based on the account, we contacted the landlord as it was a Sunday and he said he hadn't authorised any bank change, so it did look like a scam! However, after contacting a very rude woman at M&Co they stated THEY were changing the bank account and we have no right to talk to our own landlord and to pay them immediately and we were lying about the warning from the bank (proof attached). We are on a fully managed contract and have had to organise everything ourselves so far, which is ludicrous. We are fed up with communication from this company and would never rent with them again.
6th Oct 2024 (6 mo. ago)This agent really helped me to find my first rental after over a month of looking. I was in contact mainly with Kyra Smith, who was very nice and very helpful. Her communication and she was very helpful with any enquiries I had. When I moved in, I got a box of goodies as a Welcome Pack, which was very sweet. Any issues I have at the flat, they're very quick to answer and sort the issue. They're a great agent and very easy to work with. I had to deduct two stars simply because of how bad the handyman they decided to work with is. You're much better off hiring your own handyman as MSBuilders half asks jobs and never fully fixes it just seals it for a couple of months. I've had ongoing issues with the shower since I moved in, and every single time, the handyman temporarily seals it for 2 months just for it to happen again. I couldn't live in my house that I paid rent for, FOR 2 WEEKS due to the incompetence of this handyman. And when he did eventually come after 2 weeks he didn't fit any of the issues and instead spent the entire time moaning about the state of my house and how I apparently 'don't clean it'. This incident occurred on Monday, 23rd September 2024, at around 11 am. This seems like a marketing con to keep my deposit, so I've kept evidence just in case. This handyman is just losing the agent more and more money. It really sucks because the agency itself is so good.

Although the process took longer than expected due to issues further up the chain (through no fault of our own), Karl was genuine, honest, and kept us informed every step of the way. He was thorough, and whether it was a call back or an email, he always got back to us very quickly. Despite the challenges, Karl did everything he could to keep things moving. It's clear why the agency has such a great reputation in the area. Highly recommended.
24th Mar 2025 (5 weeks ago)I wanted to say a big thank you to Sears for recently helping me sale my property. The marketing was outstanding, compared to other Agents. Sarah Blake in the Wokingham office was excellent. She has been in regular contact with me and has such a great way with her clients. She has outstanding knowledge of the market to. A big thank you to Lydia Oge as well. When I was getting valuations from various Estate Agents Lydia stood out by miles. She was the reason I decided to come to Sears to Sale my property.
