30th Jan 2020 (4 years ago)Martyn was very helpful upon my move in and viewing. However when it was time for me to move out, they withheld some of my deposit money because the property wasn't clean enough. I didn't complain when upon my move in the floor was as dirty as the grount outside, but now I got charged money because I didn't clean? They even provided pictures about how it wasn't "clean". There was no dirt on the pictures.

He called as soon as was possible and sorted out all the details he needed right away, and went the next morning to secure this. Thanks!

They are so much more professional than some of the competition - no lies, no games, no bull, no egos, no made up viewers, no lack of feedback, no excuses, no cancellations, no non-shows on the day. The MH team were honest, direct, professional, communicative and fun to deal with at every step. Every single viewing that was booked in showed up and we got detailed feedback from each of them. The service we received was flawless and they succeeded in securing a great sale price for our property - where other agents gave up or couldn't be bothered. We were kept informed throughout our far from straightforward house sale. We had to change our minds on the first house we were buying resulting in going back on the market. Friendly, down to earth, professional and really helpful! We put in a offer the same day and was accepted very quickly. Alex knew we had a time limit on when this needed to complete and he was just so helpful and the communication throughout was top notch! He made this process so easy for us as first time buyers. If you are a first time buyer I would highly recommend you request to connect to jack. And if the rest of the team are as skilled you will be in amazing hands. We also cannot thank Oliver enough who was able to hit the nail on the head with our property goals without any lag, meaning we did not miss out on any available market oppurtunities. I look forward to connecting again very soon for future investments.

From the initial valuation together with the ongoing support once my property was sold, through to them liaising with my solicitors and the estate agents from who I am purchasing my next property. Fees are always a bit of a contender when selling ..but you get what you pay for and they have definitely proved they are worth it with there helpfulness and professionalism.

15th Sep 2022 (1 year ago)!! Avoid them at any cost !! They are the most unorganised, unprofessional and the rudest agency I have ever been with, they have left us without a shower for over 3 months, the lied about the property being professionally cleaned, all they care about is money! Lesley and Rob their head of lettings are the people that we have been dealing with, Rob was lying through his teeth to get us into the property, these people don’t have any respect for their tenants! And now since we left the property they are causing so many issues it’s actually an utter joke.

I rented from them for 2 years, and they’ve always been so quick with any issues raised and were always LITERALLY just a call away. A special shout out goes to Daniel at Reading Lettings, who has been exceptional. He was always my go-to person at the office because he was always SUPER understanding and fast and would ensure all queries or issues raised were consulted with all housemates, and a unanimous decision was made. This is not just me complimenting his abilities, but another tenant who used to live with us also told me to reach out to Daniel for any issues, as she too trusted him completely! This guy honestly deserves a raise. Thank you Daniel, for not just helping me find a room, but for also maintaining flawless communication between the tenants and the landlord, you are a huge asset to reading lettings! ? I have dealt with a few horrible lettings agencies in Reading, which impacted my mental health, so it was a gamble when I got in touch with Reading Lettings. 10th May 2024 (11 weeks ago)I had a viewing scheduled at 3:30, but the agent was over 11 minutes late without any prior communication. When contacted, the agent attempted to deceive me about their arrival time. I understand that delays can occur however it's unacceptable to be dishonest about it. This lack of professionalism and honesty reflects poorly on the agency's service. Based on my experience, I would not recommend dealing with them.Whiteknights Estate Agents - Lower Earley

I found Amilcar very helpful and understanding and at the same time Very professional and doing all the checks very thoroughly One particular agent in the area is asking more rent than what is marketed and is starting a price war Based on my recent experience I will recommend Whiteknights and Especially Amilcar
