He has really eased a lot of stresses that comes with finding/renting a property, has communicated with us every step of the way and listened to every query we had. To put into perspective, Me and my Partner had viewed a property on the Thursday and by the following Wednesday, we were able to pick up the keys to our rental property. 4th Jun 2024 (8 weeks ago)Mayfords claim to represent landlords, but it's a lie. The service I've received from them is absolutely appalling. Since December 2023, I have reported a leak from the roof, which has caused a hole in my ceiling. It is now the 29th of June 2024, and they have done absolutely nothing to fix it. They are completely unprofessional and inefficient. I'm talking about Reuben Charles and a certain Christine.They probably spend more time browsing Facebook or on OnlyFans rather than fixing problems around the estate, which is an absolute disaster. Everything is falling apart: the communal door doesn't close, the walls are a disgusting yellow color, the carpet is filthy, and the communal bins are uncovered, giving foxes free access. Every morning, we have to step over a pile of garbage with our kids to exit the estate. Landlords, stay away from Mayfords. They will rip you off. You won't get anything back, and they will surely take your money.

They kept on top of things and made sure the process kept moving in spite of a few hurdles. I really think they earned their money. I would highly recommend iMove.

Instead of going for the same kind of corporate, profit driven, pushy stereotype that we have all come to know (and loathe) the team at Hestia’s are the opposite. Their focus is on individuals, they want to really get to know and help people. The people who’s houses they are tasked with selling but also the people who want to buy them. We instinctively got on well with the team from our first meeting and it was just a pleasure working with them. Conversations were always professional and productive, but most importantly they were conversations and at no point did we feel dictated to. Viewings were handled respectfully; communication was great with plenty of notice at every turn and they found perfect buyers for our home. As with any process there were complications, but Hestia’s made a huge effort to help us and our buyer overcome these issues which made everything work in the end. In short without their help, we would not have been able to move when we did. I would not hesitate in recommending Hestia’s to anyone trying to sell their home in South London. They are brilliant and we can’t thank them enough for the effort they put in.

Azra was a breath of fresh air when she greeted us at the property for the first ever viewing, Azra was enthusiastic, friendly, knowledgeable and honest - she was big part of why we put an offer down. Our whole experience has been incredibly smooth thanks to Azra, she was happy to help anywhere, anytime! Highly recommend!
25th Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)We bought a property through Galloways and I has been an experience full of pressure. First of all, they sent someone to the property who does not know a single thing about the property. It seems she had to cover for his colleague, I don't blame her, but from the company side does not look great. During the offer process I could see how they were trying to milks us as much money as possible, they were describing it as "I tried to convince the owners", "I put a good word for you", BUT "we have more viewings", "you will loose the property etc... Clearly they did not put a good word because as soon as we did not want to give more money, they accepted in a matter of hours. They were just scheming how to take all the money the could. During the purchase process, they were calling ALL the time complaining about my solicitors, I felt forced to get involved when it was contrary to what my solicitors said. It is supposed to be a process managed between solicitors, but they had to even threat us with losing the property because our solicitor was not happy with their replies. Now at our property, we have seen there might be a mould issue and suddenly a hole in the floor. Our surveyor did not spot this, however, if this agency knew, they did not say anything. After speaking with several people (we are first time buyers) this is what all the state agents do, I guess we could consider they did what they were supposed to do.

Initially Jonathan was more positive, credible and knowledgeable about the immediate sales market that the two competitors that I met. When there were some bumps in the road his level headed advice helped to turn things around and get to a positive solution. Really great quality and professional agents!
