I had really negative experiences with other estate agents until Matthew changed that. He has been extremely honest and great to deal with. 19th Sep 2024 (23 days ago)We Used Chandlers to sell a family property, after viewing multiple estate agents, Ben and David were the only Estate agents that made us feel like a human and not a number. Ben originally came to asses the house and provided us with all the information we wanted and needed, we didn’t feel pressured in anyway and it made us as a family want to work with them even more. Both David and Ben kept us updated throughout the entire process and they have both been incredible, nothing was too much of an issue, We are so glad we chose Chandlers and we would use them for any future sales/purchases and recommend them to all our friends and family, I truly commend Chandlers for their fantastic customer service and it’s very rare to have people who show such care within their expertise.

22nd Sep 2024 (20 days ago)I recently sold my property through Morgan Alexander. I was really impressed by Westley and his approach - he knows the local area well, does what he says he will and had a very realistic view on how to market my property and what I could expect for it. He kept in regular contact with me through the process and within a week had found a buyer who offered the amount I wanted. It was very smooth throughout. I felt that other (bigger) local agents who I also spoke to initially just wanted to give their spiel about how great they were and why they were better than the smaller agents - when in fact Morgan Alexander were a lot more positive about what they could do for me and actually take a very modern approach using social media to get more interest in their properties. Westley and everyone else in the team who I dealt with were professional and helpful throughout and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone selling or buying in Hertford and beyond. Thank you for making a stressful process as smooth and easy as possible.

22nd Aug 2024 (7 weeks ago)The whole team at Curtis Cooke were superb throughout the whole process of selling the property for which I was an Executive. Professional, supportive, excellent communication/liaison between parties. This was the 2nd house they had sold for me and I wouldn't choose any other agent. Highly recommended.

29th Jul 2024 (11 weeks ago)Absolutely amazed with the service from Cheffins, Saffron Walden and in particular, Sarah Facey, who is an absolute legend! She proactively contacted us at 9am the morning our letting became available. She then hastily arranged a viewing with the landlady for the same day, 3 hours later in fact, and by 13:30 we had agreed the deal with the landlady. Following on, we have met with Cheffins at their offices twice and received similarly high standards of customer service, delivered in a warm and friendly way. Sarah has continued to keep in contact and offered her number for the future, even though ongoing maintenance is not her department - really going above and beyond. AMAZING!

26th Sep 2024 (16 days ago)Terrible agency. Twice in a row that we requested to view the place within half a day but no reply. Later tried to reach out again, only got told that the place was already fully booked for viewing/ someone wished to buy the place. Terrible service. Everytime called to enquire but refused to give information, got told email only, then after a few days tried to call again and they said the place was already gone.

16th Sep 2024 (26 days ago)As a first time buyer I completed on my flat with Pio as my agent last month and have had such a positive experience with them. Throughout the process from the dreaded bidding war through to renegotiations on sales prices and completion, Pio helped to facilitate multiple surveys, kept up momentum with the sales process and was always responsive to my queries which meant from the sale being agreed to completion was only 11 weeks. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him- he was friendly, open to all questions however small and just a total pro. Thanks for making first time buying that much less daunting!

18th Mar 2024 (6 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

From start to finish they were very helpful and created an attractive, professional presentation of the property. They handled viewings efficiently and communicated well once we had accepted an offer and were moving through the chain. If I had a property to buy or sell in their area I would definitely use them again.
