I'm so glad I opted for the good state agent instead of a larger high street agent, I really felt that the 'personal touch' made a difference.

19th Aug 2024 (28 days ago)I have recently used Edward Mellor as the estate agents for the sale of my home. They provided the best sales pitch and also the highest possible valuation compared to other local agents. I was sceptical about the asking price that was recommended for my house, however, Chris (Hazel grove branch manager) was very confident with his appraisal and this gave me even more confidence to proceed with Edward Mellor. Natalie Jenkins was the best sales handler I could have asked for, she answered every call, every email and every query that I had. She informed me promptly with updates and information regarding the sale of my property from start to finish. I never had to chase her up for anything. She has been amazing!!

30th Aug 2024 (17 days ago)Very bad estate agents, never answer phones, we leave countless voice messages to no reply back. Staff not helpful at all. They have promised us calls back but never do, massive let down and they have made our house move extremely stressful by providing no updates or information.

Both Dean and Nick went above and beyond to find the perfect buyers for mum’s house and ensured that she was kept updated throughout the process. The sale went through smoothly and I cannot recommend the team at Hazel Grove highly enough. Thank you!

8th Sep 2024 (8 days ago)A great service from the Bramhall branch when selling our house. They knew the area really well and in particular our road. Towards exchange and completion things got a little difficult with the parties at the bottom of the chain. Sophie was able to step in and help liaise with then different parties. Would highly recommend.

19th Nov 2022 (1 year ago)Everyone at the Estate Agency have been very helpful and informative. They have guided me through the process and have explained each step. They set my expectations at the beginning, which was good. The process has been a smooth one. They fitted in visits around my shifts. I liked the fact that the viewings were done on one day without me being there (great when you live with a toddler) They have always been prompt in replying to any messages. They have made this part as stress free as possible for me.

13th Jul 2024 (9 weeks ago)No idea how this estate agent sells houses or if they only earmark properties they post for specific clients/buyers already known to the business. Very oddly run, you phone up and are put through to an admin team of sorts, never an agent. They will take your details and say they will pass it onto the agent who will allegedly phone you themselves, they won’t give you the agents details either so you have to just wait for this call. It’s been just over a week of me trying to view a particular property, phoned in multiple times to no avail. - Update, if you find out who the agent dealing with the property is, you can try find their contact details on the actual website, the lady I dealt with was actually sound & treated me the way I’d expect to be, like 90% of other estate agent companies would’ve.
4th Sep 2024 (12 days ago)We decided to sell our home and move to a bungalow. We had a brilliant experience with Woodhall estate agent. John Woodhall was professional and very knowledgeable about the property market. We put the house up on the Friday and sold it on the Saturday. The whole process was handled in a very professional manner by John and his lovely team, nothing was too much trouble and they were always ready to chat and offer advice. The whole process was completed in 8 weeks start to finish due to the fabulous work by John and his team. Definitely a 5 star experience. Recommend to everyone
12th May 2024 (18 weeks ago)We knew when we first met Adam Gaulton that he was the right agent for us and since then, he has more than surpassed our expectations! Adam is a genuinely nice guy and this, in combination with his impressive knowledge and expertise, got our house sold (for the full asking price) in less than 3 weeks! Since then, Adam has continued to offer us advice and support and has been an absolute pleasure to work with. We honestly couldn’t be happier and would highly recommend him to anyone!

He met me and my daughter at the property and showed us round, the owners had left us to it and Matthew allowed us to explore the property, he was on hand for any questions I had. Matthew called the next morning for our feedback, I asked on how I could make an offer, his advise was just what I needed to hear and put forward my opening offer, a couple of offers were submitted on my behalf and by early afternoon we had an agreement. Matthew said leave it to me I’ll be back in touch in a few days, true to his word he reached out to me with the next steps etc etc. I was that impressed by how reassuring and trustworthy Matthew was I asked him to sell my property. He came to visit me at our then home, we had an honest discussion and he gave me a sensible valuation on the spot which is what I wanted. There was no pressure whatsoever, he said if we put yours on at that price, expecting a potential purchaser to offer a reasonable price then I think it will sell quickly. We had 3 people come to visit, within 2 weeks of my home being on the market it sold. We have been in our new property for about a month now, just finishing off the final bits of selling my old home but Matthew still reaches out to me to keep me informed. I would not hesitate to recommend Matthew or his company to anyone, very professional on all our dealings, his team are also lovely, professional and easy to communicate with. 10 out of 10 on all parts from start to finish. Thanks for everything Matthew. Selling / buying homes so everyone says is tough, Matthew made everything easy !!!

5th Jul 2024 (10 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
