Marlie has a genuine enthusiasm and worked hard to ensure I got the right viewing and followed up on my enquiries perfectly - thank you Marlie
I have never dealt with such rude and people in my life.
My sister and I were looking to buy a property in tooting. On numerous occasions we called about a few properties and promised to have our call returned by a member of their sales team. No one ever returned our call. Ever.
On the one occasion I managed to get through to one of the sales team named 'Bhavin Patel', he said we should sign up to the 'priority buyers list' (or whatever it was called). The idea of this list was to get us first viewings on new properties, but we had to provide pay slips and bank statements etc. When I said I didn't want to provide this information just to view a house, he became quite aggressive insisting I was making a mistake, and put me through to who I think may have been a mortgage advisor- he was equally aggressing and pushy. Bhavin refused to listen to my reasoning that no other estate agent required this information and was extremely condescending and rude.
I was very keen on the property in question, so when I called the main office to arrange a viewing the conversation went as follows:
Me: "Erm, Hello? Is this Barnard Marcus?"
BM: "Yeah, Who do you want."
I wish I could portray the tone and manor of the conversation, but it was truly shocking.
I decided not to pursue viewing the property with Bhavin after he called me so many times to arrange a viewing, and in such a terrible mannor.
We ended up purchasing a property with Haart (tooting) who have been an absolute delight in comparison. Although, when Bhavin called me (again) I informed him of this and asked him to not contact me, and if our sale fell through I would be in contact. He ignored this completely, and continued to call me on numerous occasions, insisting i should still view his properties and sign on to the priorities list until our sale was complete.
I found KFH very proactive and helpful in letting my property. Both Will and Jack are good communicators and were there to advise every step of the way. I was very impressed by their service and will use them again.
Paul, the manager, and other team members failed to manage our expectations at every level. It began when we challenged the suggested asking price which we thought it was far too high. They insisted it was right, if not a bit low. We explained that the last thing we wanted was to put it on for too much, get excited, then have to come down in price and be disappointed. They said the market in Balham was awesome and talked of sealed bids and we should probably push for even more. We pressed the point but they insisted they had buyers waiting in the wings. After hardly any viewings and a failure of all these buyers to materialise they suggested we drop the price by £30k exactly the scenario we had said we wanted to avoid at outset, then tried to blame us! They managed to hit pretty much every negative cliche you can attribute to Estate agents. We changed to Purple Bricks, saved 5k in fees and sold to the FIRST person who viewed. My suggestion is you avoid KFH.
A huge thank you to Nathalie for being an absolute god send through this whole property hunting procedure. She was extremely helpful and made ease of what is usually such a stressful process! Not only was she patient and attentive with all our requirements (all one hundred of them) but she managed to turn it all around in such a timely manner.
If anyone is looking to rent in the area, I strongly recommend paying her a visit as your first port of call, you won't be disappointed!
It's been two months since we've moved out and we still didn't get the deposit back!!! Blood-sucking leaches!! Think 3 times before renting from them
Bought my house June 2017. Excellent service from start to finish. Shaz from Haart went out his way to ease my purchase and kept me up to date at all stages of the process. I can highly recomend Haart Estate Agents. Well done
Do not use Haart.
We took out a tenancy agreement through them. They made multiple errors - emailing my housemate at the wrong email (even after being corrected), giving us TWO wrong addresses for the property and putting the wrong date and address on the contract.
The have been hard to contact and took a long time to get back to me. Even within the company they can't seem to get in contact with each other.
They booked a check in time for us without asking if we could make it and then didn't get back to us for about 2 weeks until it was only a few days until moving in.
They told us everything was sorted (even when I specifically asked about references) and then a day and half before moving in told us they didn't have our references and we couldn't move in unless it was resolved.
This agency are disorganised and unprofessional and yet charge more than any of the other agencies we did viewings with.
I moved to London from Sydney, Australia for work purposes and found that Amy, my real estate agent, was exceptionally understanding and accomodating in helping to make the transition easier. She was also always prompt and friendly in her communication and correspondence. Thank you very much.
Recently started renting a property through Jacksons estate agents. The process has been made difficult and stressful due to unclear instructions by staff. Will not be using Jacksons again.
A very positive experience with M&P Tooting, although it was their Brixton branch that found the buyer, supporting their claim at the outset that the property would be promoted from branches beyond Tooting. To be honest I had thought that was just sales talk, but the end result proved me wrong. Viewing levels were healthy, and feedback was excellent. So many agents are terrible about keeping client;'s informed, so this was a big factor for me. An individual mention for David at the Brixton branch for his professionalism throughout, and his skill in persuading buyers searching outside the area to come and view the property. It's that sort of knowledge and skill that differentiates good traditional agents from the plethora of cheap online only agents that are available.
We bought a property from Marsh & Parsons. Martin worked very hard to ensure our timetable for completion was met, chasing all parties, answering as many of our enquiries as possible. We would strongly consider using the team if we look to sell/rent out in the future.
