We were taken care of by Alasdair in the lettings department who was friendly, helpful, and extremely effective. The properties he showed us matched our requirements mostly, and we were able to fulfil our requirements once we chose a place and Alisdair spoke to the landlord. During the viewing process, Alisdair did a good job of showing the full range of possibilities without showing us places that were completely outside our requirements or limits. We found a property we loved, and Alisdair helped us negotiate a great agreement on the changes we required on the flat. The process of signing the agreements etc was easy, quick, and efficient. Have recently been dealing with Hollie, the new property manager, regarding my tenancy on a property in Fulham managed by Brik. She is excellent, friendly, patient and very thorough in her responses. No job is too much hassle and she has recently coordinated a huge change in furniture for us, as well as a long list of works that we require. I would highly recommend Briks fully managed service if you were going to let your property as Hollie would be the main point of contact.
Let my flat out with these guys having dealt with them before and been very happy. Have read below reviews and seen Alex and Georgina (who has now left) being praised and I would totally agree with that - both very efficient and helpful. Alex was the one who actually found my tenants this time around. Ryan on the other hand is useless, there aren't enough characters in this text box to list all his deficiencies but to name a few: 1. Deposit not collected before keys were handed over and tenants moved in. 2. Numerous errors in the tenancy agreement including putting Brik's bank details for rent payment instead of mine when I had clearly instructed them to do the former. 3. Gas certificate and check in report took over a month to be sent despite numerous chasers. 4. Completed references were submitted to Brik who sat on them for a further 2 weeks which delayed the start of the tenancy. My sentiments were echoed by the tenants who were also left frustrated by the slow response times, phone calls going unanswered etc. When I complained I was met with false promises of call backs from one of the founding partners, Chris Littewood. I understand that things can sometimes go wrong, but the lack of a response to a complaint and a broken promise was disgraceful in my book. Avoid at all costs...
All of the team at Brik, and especially Alex, were really helpful at every stage of the buying process, from arranging viewings to liaising with the seller to keeping me updated on progress with my purchase. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
