31st Oct 2025 (6 weeks ago)This has been the worst rental experience I’ve ever had. After four years of always paying rent on time, they suddenly threatened me with “further action” over an underpayment — which turned out to be their own mistake. Even after I proved it, they didn’t apologise. When I gave notice to leave, they started bringing people for viewings without any prior notice, which is completely unacceptable. They also promised several times to arrange a checkout appointment on the final day, but never followed through. To make things worse, they withheld my deposit until I agreed to a deduction for one day’s rent, with no real justification. This agency is unprofessional, disorganised, and greedy. I would strongly advise anyone looking to rent through them to look elsewhere.

9th Dec 2025 (5 days ago)My sale was more complicated than normal. I was also selling an out of London rental property that had been let by Stirling Ackroyd for the last 11 years. It seems like a good idea to put the 2 with one agent. Stirling Ackroyd seemed like to best bet and they said they would work closely with the other branch. They did and it worked perfectly. Having spoken with other well respected agents in the area, I felt my instinct was correct. I received several offers before accepting the one for the London flat. The other apartment came under offer the same day.

12th Sep 2025 (13 weeks ago)USES BAIT AND SWITCH ON PROPERTY ADVERTS - enquired about a property that was JUST ADDED to rightmove and he called me immedaily saying it had gone but he had a similar one in the same area.... How can a property have "just been snatched up" if the advert was posted 5 mins ago? Edit from 12/09/2025: I have been looking for a property to rent for six months now and I can confirm this is a scummy agency. So many properties “just added” on the site you call them up and immediately they tell you it’s been taken off the market and try sell you another property for more money. This is why 90% of their adverts have none or 0 photos.

15th Aug 2025 (17 weeks ago)By far the worst agency I have ever rented from. Was left with a leaking ceiling in my bedroom for several months with minor support from the carter and reeves and they continuously choose to ghost us instead of dealing with issues. When they did book repairs in we would usually have less than 12 hours notice, and received significant attitude and rude comments if we weren’t available with less than 12 hours notice. The only way they would fix things is if we threatened to get external support or not pay rent. I suggest staying very far away as renting from them will severely impact your mental health. Michael especially was inaccessible and barely answered when we reached out. I suggest not renting from them if you want to maintain your sanity.

In particular with Emily - she was helpful, professional and friendly and went out of her way to find me somewhere suitable. Next time I am looking for somewhere they will be the first people I call!

23rd Oct 2025 (7 weeks ago)My experience with Loporto Browne from start to finish was exemplary. Firstly, property was exactly as marketed, no surprises. My initial viewing with Daithí was fantastic and really helped with deciding on the purchase. Secondly throughout the conveyancing process Oliver was with me every step of the way. Being a first time buyer, it was a very foreign experience for me,despite that, Oliver took his time (even during evenings/weekend at times) to answer or explain any of my queries. Oliver’s role in this transaction was certainly beyond a typical estate agent and definitely kept the deal in tact throughout. If i were to sell or let the property in the future I would certainly come back to Loporto Browne.
