Wasn't the most straight-forward transaction, but Jenny and Rebecca supported us from start to finish, and provided an excellent service. They helped us resolve the many and various issues that arose with endless good humour and patience.

I would recommend this management company. They answer the phone quickly and put you through the correct dept straight away. Thank you Pam for your excellent service.

15th Jul 2024 (12 days ago)We met Emefa for a house viewing and she was very personable and understood our needs. Her communication has been great as we have been going through the process. Keep up the good work. Unfortunately the house we put down an offer for has fallen through but we felt there was no empathy for the situation from Emefa and therefore will most likely not be going with the agency again. Whilst we appreciate things happen we expected a little care in our case but i guess for estate agents its a simple case of whether they will receive there commission or not.

Ms Azra kept us informed with various reports relating to our properties. She also and very kindly updated us with the legislative side of things by sending us various circulars and publications. 4th Jul 2024 (23 days ago)We decided going through sales with Galaxy because the way that they sold this to us, that would be easy and quick. But in the end, after more than 2 months, we did not have a single visit and no updates or communication from them as well. I would not choose them again or recommend it.

From one conversation over the phone without even meeting me Hannah perfectly understood exactly what I was looking for and her first recommendation ticked every box I had from my "must have" and even the majority of my "nice to haves" for my first home. She knew it was perfect and pushed to have me see it before anyone else, which I cannot thank her for enough. Between Alan and Hannah the communication was brilliant, I felt in the loop, all my questions were answered and they always came back to me even if the query took some time to get an answer.
17th Nov 2023 (8 mo. ago)Please avoid renting with them at all costs! You will never get your deposit back. Our flat was 30+ year old and tired as you would expect, which we accepted when we moved in. We lived there only 11 months as the house was poorly insulated, we even had ice inside the house in the winter months, they never fixed it (among other things) so we decided to leave the flat. To our surprise, when we handed over the house, they brought their 'expert', a guy called Mark who has been with them for ages, as an 'independent' inspector, who obviously isn't. They will claim all kinds of non existent changes and damages and deduct if from your deposit! they event claimed is our fault that a crack appeared on the ceiling! AVOID!
18th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Browns really are a breath of fresh air in the world of Estate Agents. Robert was my one point of contact, he has a great knowledge of the market, is very professional, transparent and personable. Throughout the selling process, Robert kept me up to date on everything, was proactive and followed up when he said he would and in my opinion went above and beyond what I expected from an Estate Agent. I would highly recommend Browns Residential.
