Polite, helpful, extremely professional and, above all, excellent at communication. An excellent service and when the usual problems with the sale process arose, the sheer wealth of experience that was brought to bear to resolve the issues, was remarkable.

From the first management of the bidding process to the handover of the keys on completion Tom’s was a calm and reassuring voice. We are confident that he served the Vendors well but from the moment our offer was accepted we felt he was on our side too. The very few issues were smoothly managed. A personal touch throughout.

We had a property that was relatively easy to sell, but slightly complicated by the fact it was going through probate. Clear communication with potential buyers ensured that there were no slip ups with a slightly longer than usual sale process. We could have appointed other agents for a lower fee, but I think the coverage and marketing from Knight Frank ensured we maximised the sale price and even after any additional agent fees we likely received the best price we could. Also good work from Giselle the sales progressor in seeing it all over the line.

17th Jul 2024 (10 days ago)From start to finish the process was very good. The staff assigned to our sale were excellent but if they were unavailable at any point all other staff were knowledgable and helpful.
8th Oct 2023 (9 mo. ago)Very poor communications, we were always chasing them. They don't seem to know about things like Premium or Featured properties on Rightmove. They are too small and understaffed. You always get the answerphone when calling. I wonder if potential buyers get the same experience?

Ben and the staff are so helpful, professional and genuine in their efforts to secure you the property you want. 20th Oct 2021 (2 years ago)Nicol and Co. give you a 'ready to sell' booklet with lots of tips on how to set up your house for sale. You can pick and choose what you do or not do. They had our house up for sale, videoed and sold within two weeks. They also offer unique features like an in-house service to help get you ready to sell. They help you with your fixtures and fittings, boundaries. They will discuss your deeds, certificates and guarantees and warranties. All this takes the pressure off you finding our information when it becomes time-sensitive. They answer the phone when you call, they support the local community with donations. As a seller we got to choose a charity for £100 to go to. As a buyer they give out a welcome pack. Their costs are upfront and include all of the above. As a local family run business they can really give the big named agents a run for their money!
