Although we were only at the enquiry stage, Julie was incredibly helpful and provided us with all the information we needed to understand the process and our options.<br><br>She was so polite, professional and approachable, and took the time to answer all of our questions clearly and patiently. She made a great first impression and gave us real confidence in the service.<br><br>If you’re considering going down the auction route, I would definitely recommend calling and asking to speak with Julie — she was absolutely lovely and a real credit to the team!
15th Aug 2026 (30 days ago)Extremely disappointed, we had arranged a viewing and a time today, and we reached outside the property had to come quite a distance, and they refused to pick up any calls didn't have any agents available and after waiting 40 mins and being forwarded to voicemail I had no option but to leave. Avoid these property agents they are extremely unprofessional and do not care about other people's time
13th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)Unfortunately, very poor customer service. I accidentally got the date of my viewing mixed up and missed the appointment. I accept responsibility for this and was more than happy to apologise and rearrange.<br>However, an hour later I received a call from the estate agent informing me that I had missed the appointment. The way I was spoken to was extremely rude and the agent actually hung up on me.<br>I then called the office myself to apologise and see if the viewing could be rearranged. Unfortunately, the person I spoke to was also very rude and told me that I had “wasted their time”.<br>I completely understand that missing an appointment is inconvenient and I accept my mistake. However, there is a professional way to deal with customers, and I found the attitude of both staff members completely unacceptable.<br>I was genuinely interested in the property, but after this experience I would not use this estate agent and would not recommend them.

Their marketing and photographs were excellent, they achieved the price we wanted and kept us up to date throughout the entire process. Very pleased indeed and thoroughly recommend Jake and his Team.

- 28th Aug 2026 (17 days ago)We have recently successfully sold our property using the Bournville branch of Oulsnam and the money is now in our bank account.<br>It sold quickly at a good price. A great start! However, this is just the beginning of the process. It always takes weeks until completion and the sale money is eventually transferred.<br>However, what stands out for me is the support the staff at the Bournville branch then offered us during this period as they all worked towards an eventual final completion for us.<br>A group of very pleasant, professional staff kept gently pushing us, kept pushing the other parties, the buyer and even our own solicitors in the sale to encourage and nudge forward the sale towards completion.<br>At the same time, they kept us constantly up to date with progress, with problems or any actions that we needed to take to move the process forward.<br>It was great to have them all on our side!

9th Sep 2026 (5 days ago)Extremely unprofessional and disappointing experience with James Laurence. I took time off work for a viewing, submitted all the requested documents within 30 minutes afterwards, at the asking price without even negotiating, and clearly explained that I needed to secure a place urgently.<br><br>Despite this, I was later told the property had already been let agreed. This happened to me repeatedly, wasting my time and even my annual leave. My credit history and background are good, and I had no issues with the checks.<br><br>They clearly do not value prospective tenants’ time. If you want a smooth and professional experience, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Very poor service.

26th Aug 2026 (19 days ago)By far the worst experience with a letting agent throughout university. I spent my year following up maintenance issues because they do not give an answer over the phone or respond to emails half of the time, or say that they have booked contractors or ordered parts, which then turns out wasn’t done at all. Spent 4 months without a working dishwasher, 7 months without fridge freezer drawers and shelves or oven racks, couldn’t use the garden in summer because it was never cleared in over two months after requesting it, had a leak in an electrical area for over a month, etc. Then comes the end of tenancy, they try to charge us over £1000 in damages, including £400 cleaning fee with no reason behind it, fabricated costs for small damages, and damages which we had evidence that they had been aware of since 3 years earlier. Complete scammers, too lazy to do their job and want to trick young people who don’t know any better out of their money. Shame because the house was lovely.

I will not forget the amazing Hassan Ahmed for guidance, showing me endless options to choose from, not rushing me, allowing me make my decisions . You guys are the best, I will sure recommend Connells to anyone, cos they have the most amazing and professional staff.
2nd Sep 2026 (12 days ago)Adam Ali Lettings Manager @ Connells Kings Heath had been parachuted in from Connells Rugby end of May. ( my words not his). We were his first Lettings project at Kings Heath. Presented with an unusual and complicated end of tenancy on our property, Adam was the consumate professional and set about in a friendly manner resolving all of the many issues this end of tenancy presented. His experience and sound advice resulted in a house clearance and refurbishment from 5th June thru to marketing and viewings from end of July to a full letting with new tenants moving in on 18th August. Adam assisted by his collegue James Grey, constantly beat my expectations, especially as the previous Lettings Team had consistently failed to meet my expectations , despite me lowering them year on year. So if you are after experienced professional friendly customer service which put you first, I can recommend Adam and James. I never give 5 stars as I think there is always room for improvement in any organisation.
