The entire process, from October to March, was impressively quick and smooth. One of the standout qualities was their in-depth knowledge of the market. As soon as I considered selling, they provided a comprehensive report covering current market conditions, insights on my street, and buyer demand. This gave me great confidence from the outset. They were never pushy, but always responsive and proactive in keeping me informed. I particularly appreciated their honesty—both about the state of the market and realistic expectations for the sale price. The marketing was excellent. The photos of my property looked fantastic, and they even arranged the Energy Performance Certificate on the same day, which minimised disruption—especially important as I work from home. They also recommended and coordinated with a solicitor who was equally reliable and efficient. Together, they worked seamlessly, and communication throughout the process was consistently clear and timely. Although no major issues arose, I have no doubt they would have handled any challenges quickly and professionally. If you’re looking for a trustworthy and knowledgeable estate agent, I would highly recommend Jeremy McGinn & Co. If I ever move again, they will be my first call! So, a massive thank you to the whole team for all their effort at the Alcester office. I appreciate everything you have done for me and my family.

They acted professional, helpfully and keep us abreast of how the process was going. What more they always did what they said they would and did it on time. The guidance of both Emily and Rodger was invaluable and made the whole purchase process so much less stressful Brilliant job Earles Alas the same can not be said of our vendors agents

26th May 2026 (9 weeks ago)As a young first-time buyer, I had no choice but to use Shipways. The entire process was highly stressful and completely unsupported. The irony is that when our offer was accepted, they were incredibly strict about enforcing a 28-day exchange of contracts. We did everything right—secured our mortgage offer and got completely ready—only for the process to stall because my solicitor was waiting on Shipways for an amended contract!Despite their strict demands on us, I was constantly chasing them via email, receiving minimal responses or mere acknowledgements rather than actual guidance. If I hadn't sought external support, I don’t know how I would have managed. Be prepared to do 99% of the chasing yourself.On completion day, funds were released and we had confirmation hours prior. Despite this, the agent’s response was simply, 'I haven't been made aware,' acting as if assisting us was a massive chore. She was incredibly curt and short with us, causing immense panic while removal vans were waiting.To top it off, I couldn't collect the keys in person, so I sent someone else. Shipways handed the keys over blindly, asking for absolutely no ID or confirmation of identity. For contrast, the property was multi-agency, and when we dealt with the other agents (AP Morgan), they were a completely different league. They required proof of ID and proper forms, highlighting just how poor and lax Shipways' security and customer service truly was. Use them with extreme caution.

Although I had a few headaches with the references, the team and their system were excellent. Even after I moved in, the maintenance team responded quickly and did a great job. Thank you all for the great service!

We have benefitted from working with the same staff (for example Becky) for many years and they have always been extremely efficient, professional and have offered valuable advice throughout. The communication we have received as always been excellent and punctual. We could not have rented out a property without them.
2nd Jun 2026 (8 weeks ago)Not very good communication. Contacted about a viewing on a property & was told they were on holiday for the week & viewings would be arranged when back. Chased today (Tuesday) about viewings & miraculously it has been let. Just communicate correctly, its not much to ask. He was fantastic at communicating with everyone and the vendor offering honest and transparent advice.<br><br>They say an estate agent's real work starts after the sale is agreed to keep all parties posted, and Philip did this brilliantly. We always knew exactly where we stood despite the complexities, highly recommend.
3rd Mar 2026 (21 weeks ago)I was buying a property via King Homes The sale of my property fell through I informed Kong Homes immediately Several weeks later the house i was buying was put back on the market without even bothering to inform me It came up on my emails via Right Move I was prepared to pay the extra stamp duty but was never given that opportunity. Even my solicitor was shocked at such shocking treatment. King homes even had the cheek to offer to sell my home for me. Which I would have never accepted after such shocking service.

16th Jul 2026 (13 days ago)Oakmans did not sell my house ? Not sure why it’s saying they did your end. They were ok at the start but, photographer was great really friendly . Found them hard to communicate with, always someone different and they didn’t seem to know what was going on. The team were pleasant enough just think they have too many properties and you get lost amongst it all. Felt like it was just a numbers game, stack as many as possible and see which one sells.

This resulted in a speedy sale.<br>He was always available to speak with or message outside of traditional working hours. This meant quick, efficient communication to up date us at every stage of the process.<br>Ben went above and beyond taking the lead and chasing the whole chain until we had exchanged and completed.
