BRILLIANT 10 STAR IF I COULD After 12 years of buying
( BUYER WHAT DO YOU EXPECT ITS AN AUCTION NOT A SHOP)
Ive been going to JOHN PYE Since they open,ed at the old cattle market in nottingham just by the football ground. they have gone from strenght to strenght over the years, giving valued customers a choice of looking at the items ,trying the items befor you buy..
John Pye is and always has been the only auction that lets you Try any lots that you wish to purchase giving you plenty of time to make a rashional decision on what you see. Many customers see the items online and take it they are all working when most of them are but it is down to the bidder to make sure they try and view it properly.. you wouldnt buy a car without checking it first would you. Ime sure i was a valued customer when they had there day live auction twice a week when you paid a £100 deposit and attended in person. i bought a lot more then as i was able to spend 6 hours there WHY they dispenced of that i dont know. people i knew spent £10.000 at once .
ime sure they would atract more customers NOT THAT THEY NEED MORE.
John Pye is a friendly atmosphere always helping you make a good decision i realise anything i buy might be faulty but hey who cares , i always get a profit from what i buy KEEP GOING JOHN PYE with the service you have given for many years BUT PLEASE PLEASE bring back the live turn up auctions where i can spend more..and give a credit voucher for long standing customers.. Paul Coleman from lincoln.
PS FUNNY how customers never write when thay buy good items

Got stung in the car auctions, cars that arrive with keys, but that turn out to have engine faults, suddenly don't have keys anymore, they seem to get lost, and auctioned as "No keys" instead of "Engine fault" as you can get more money for a car that isn't advertised as "Engine fault". The 3 minute rule is a pure scam and not normal auction practice, just allows John Pye to run the bids up higher themselves using a computer. You cant see how many bidders there are or who you are bidding against, pure trickery. I have no proof, obviously, its just my experience, however i would bet on it. Also, be aware of any company that has to reply to every single one of the google reviews left by customers. Their replies and concern are just for show, to cover their backsides and make it seem like they care. Reputable businesses don't need to continuously sweep up the aftermath of disgruntled customers. Saying "please email us your concerns" is the modern way of saying "Go away, we don't care, we already have your money". Apart from those minor issues, its not a bad auction. Wait for it..."Dear Adam, we are sorry to hear you have a negative experience with us. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your invoice number and registered email address, so we can investigate further...
This review is to warn other people like myself that are trying to earn an honest living. I do not want you to get ripped off as i did. Be careful with this "auction".
