8th Feb 2026 (7 mo. ago)I felt the agent had a lack of knowledge and understanding of our local area, and was too focused on metrics rather than seeing the advantages of our particular property over some of the other properties around us. I felt there was too much pressure being put on us to drop our asking price after only a few weeks in.

4th Sep 2026 (18 days ago)Selling your property can be a daunting prospect so we asked around locally for recommendations. Wilson Thomas came out on top for their friendly and non-pushy approach. They didn't disappoint. Their service from start to finish was exemplary. The valuation by Simon was professional, respectful and realistic. We had total faith in his judgement due to his longstanding employment in the industry, his knowledge of the locality and his honest and straightforward approach. We were lucky enough to secure a sale on the first day of viewing to a local couple. Communication with the office was excellent. Any query or worry was answered in a very timely manner, even when you assumed that the office had closed for the evening Justin would be straight back with an email and an answer for immediate reassurance. We were able to conveniently communicate with our buyers through him and vice versa which we found extremely helpful. On the day of exchanging contracts Justin was immediately on the phone to congratulate us. In this digital age it is so refreshing to come across such a personal one to one service where you are made to feel valued. The estate agent that we were buying through were often difficult to get hold of which can be upsetting and frustrating at times. They could certainly learn a thing or two from Justin and his team. If you are looking to sell a property do not hesitate. We would highly recommend Wilson Thomas. They will be with you all the way.

30th Jul 2026 (8 weeks ago)Having never sold a house at auction before, especially one that was over 100 miles from where I live, I expected the process to be fraught with angst!<br>However, Meredith and the rest of the team went above and beyond to explain the process, and provide guidance, support and advice during the process and to bring the sale to a successful conclusion ...thank goodness!<br>Thank you to Meredith and the team - I cannot recommend them highly enough.
3rd Aug 2026 (7 weeks ago)We have recently bought a house through Fisks. The customer service from day one was, unfortunately, very poor.<br><br>The problems started at the very first viewing, which we had booked via phone call with their office after an expression of interest through Rightmove. We turned up, and no one was there. When I called the office, I was told they had no record of the booking. A representative did eventually show up (the same person I spoke to on the original booking who claimed to have no idea), but she seemed completely uninterested in being there. Very little engagement and desire to understand our position because we “weren't ready”. Not the best experience when being sold a house. Despite this, we put our own house on the market, and sold it within 7 days.<br><br>From offer acceptance to exchange took 16 weeks, well in line with the current UK national average. Throughout that time, Fisks' behaviour, in our opinion, was not professional. We understand the need to check the progress of the chain, but their approach was to hound all of us repeatedly. Communication was entirely one-way; Fisks rarely returned our phone calls, yet towards the end they spent weeks chasing and pressuring everyone else in the chain, including our own buyer’s solicitor. At one point, they even accused us of lying about our buyer's status, despite having kept them and the seller's solicitor updated throughout. By panicking and hounding five different parties at once, they were inevitably confused and created mixed messages for themselves. It felt like their own internal mismanagement and poor communication meant they simply couldn't keep track of the facts.<br><br>We were also subjected to threats that the house would be relisted if we didn’t exchange by a certain date (never happened and screams bullying tactics). The most frustrating part was that after being put under an immense amount of pressure to rush the process, the sellers themselves weren't actually ready to complete within a timely window anyway, which felt totally unjust.<br><br>To top it all off, on our second viewing we asked Fisks if the buyer was going to leave the white goods. They followed up with an email asking us if we would like to purchase them for a fee. We politely declined. Further down the line, we were presented with the contents and fitting form from the seller's solicitor, which, in fact, did stipulate that the white goods were being left. So we instructed our solicitor to ensure that they were remaining in the property, which they did agree. Move-in day comes, no white goods, a hefty amount of money being spent not only on our part to replace, but also by the sellers to remove what should have been left as per the contents and fittings form. Overall, a very sloppy sale.<br><br>This high-pressure, unorganised approach is exactly how housing chains collapse. I am incredibly relieved to no longer have to deal with Fisks, and I cannot recommend them based on this experience.<br><br>Sadly, the property had already been on the market for 6 months with a previous agent, and it seems such a shame that Fisks have taken the commission, as it definitely wasn’t earned in this case.

Their help saved me a lot of trouble as I was a long distance seller. I would not hesitate to sell through them again as we achieved more than the asking price in a difficult market.

After waiting for days with no contact, I chased it up and got told again they were waiting for viewing dates. One day later I checked and the property has been let.........<br><br>A few months back got ghosted too regarding viewing another property.<br><br>If this is their customer service at the very beginning, would you want to rent out with them?<br><br>Big fat no.

What really stood out was how personal the whole experience was — we never felt like we were just another sale or purchase. You were always there when we needed you, keeping us updated, answering our questions and helping everything along with such genuine care and professionalism.<br><br>Moving home can certainly have its stressful moments, but having such an amazing team behind us made such a difference. We honestly couldn’t have asked for more and are so grateful for all the hard work, patience and support you gave us throughout.<br><br>It’s been an absolute pleasure dealing with Link Homes, and we would recommend you without hesitation to anyone thinking of buying or selling. 1st Jul 2026 (12 weeks ago)I cannot praise Meyers in Wimborne enough. Becky arrived at the property having researched sale prices locally for similar properties. She gave me a folder with all this information plus what to expect should I appoint Meyers. Once I appointed Meyers they exceeded any expectations in so many ways. Most of our communication was made through WhatsApp which meant it was easy to respond and refer back to information contained in the chat. Nikki, who was included in this chat, was as swift as Becky when it came to updating me with information. Particularly useful when I was out of the country for a month. My thoughts were always taken into consideration and I was advised accordingly. The advertising of the property was done well, with an instagram post, a video of the property and environs plus excellent photography. It was adverted across a number of sites to make the most of getting to as many views. I feel the cost was value for money and would definitely recommend Meyers of Wimborne to anyone selling in the area.

The office always return my call and are happy and courteous. Everything is just nice and easy. Steph keeps it all ticking along nicely and I’m really happy to be using them. Highly recommend when needing property rented or sold in or around Wimborne.

In particular, Sarah really took the time to understand our needs and also those of our buyer. Their very different approach produces results, with excellent drone footage, social media teasers and overall attention to detail.<br>All requests were met with professionalism and a refreshing sense of urgency.
