17th Apr 2023 (3 years ago)Christine from Darlows is. easy to deal with ,i cant belive my house is now sold subject to contract .for a price i am happy with all in around 30 days ,she really knows the area ,i think with Darlows even though there fees are a little more ,you are paying for the amazing diversity of contacts they have .I was really impressed with them ,i bought the house from Christine at Darlows Tonypandy and now sold with them .So i have seen both sides of the coin and am very impressed a 5 star service all the way

4th Sep 2026 (8 weeks ago)Rented a few properties from Phillips homes as had to down size. There was a few issues with the first property which was damp due to condensation. Asked for advice to remedy this and staff attended and gave advice on what I needed to do and how they could help resolving the condensation and now all is good. Unknowingly I wasn’t venting the property as I should which seams to be common with terraced houses in the valley. New Humidity Extractors were installed kitchen/bathroom. Problem solved. Can’t thank the staff at the office enough.<br>Great service even though they were extremely busy.<br>Thanks again ??????
22nd Jul 2025 (1 year ago)I recently used Osbourne Estate agents as a first time buyer, before the house went through the searches, the survey picked up that the house needed work and therefore could not have a mortgage until the work was completed. I reached out to Osbourne Estate agents to question whether they were aware of the construction the house required and I had no response at all. Complete waste of time.

23rd Jan 2024 (2 years ago)Tried several times to arrange a viewing with the company only to be ignored after the first email exchange, completely ignored me until the property I was after had gone off the market.
28th May 2026 (22 weeks ago)Absolutely shocking from start to finish. They call themselves an estate agency but honestly couldn’t run a kids party. Communication was poor, organisation was chaotic and I constantly had to chase for updates and answers. The whole experience was stressful, frustrating and completely lacking in professionalism. Simple issues took far too long to resolve and there seemed to be very little accountability throughout. I would strongly advise people to avoid using this agency based on my experience. Terrible!
26th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)Called every day for a week to get tree branches removed from my garden (they took down two trees on their property next door), despite daily promises the big branches are still there a week after the trees came down.<br>** It's my landlord who is most annoyed, I'm just frustrated that I have not been kept in the loop/given updates. I was assured it would be done on Friday... A call to apologise and tell me the plans going forward would have been appreciated ??????

Wilkins and Vardy were the only ones who explained the whole process, gave us a price up front and took away all the worries. I found the whole team exceptional but in particular Paula, who was the initial contact, she was totally up front with us and made the whole process a lot easier to understand and it was this initial professionalism that prompted me to choose Wilkins and Vardy. 1st Nov 2025 (11 mo. ago)Our Experience with Property Plus We initially invited four local estate agents to value our property in Tonypandy. Having done our own due diligence, we already had a good idea of its market value. When the representative from Property Plus came to assess the property, she confidently claimed she could achieve a higher price and mentioned she had years of experience as a former surveyor. On that basis, we decided to give them a chance and proceeded on a sole agency agreement. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We were left with the impression that she was largely winging it. We received very few updates — no proactive phone calls after the limited number of viewings, and little to no genuine feedback from potential buyers. Most communication came via the occasional text or email, and overall the process felt very “hands off.” Any meaningful updates required us to visit the office in person, which, to be fair, was a much better experience and more in line with what we’d expected from the start. In summary, we felt trapped in a poor sole agency agreement and that the three-month term was largely wasted due to a lack of communication, feedback, and follow-up.
8th Oct 2026 (24 days ago)?? 1 star<br><br>Unfortunately, my experience with Nexa South Wales has been extremely frustrating.<br><br>I have been living in my current property since February and have experienced ongoing maintenance issues almost from the beginning. There have been repeated leaks from the bathroom into the kitchen, including an incident where water flooded into the kitchen and affected the electrics. Multiple contractors have attended, with various parts replaced and repairs attempted, but I have repeatedly had to chase for issues to actually be resolved.<br><br>I have also been left waiting for months for damage caused by the leaks to be properly made good, including staining and repainting the kitchen ceiling.<br><br>More recently, the boiler has been leaking for months. Two leaks were identified, one was repaired, but I have still been waiting for the other to be resolved. This morning, the boiler started leaking heavily again at around 6am, leaving me with no choice but to turn off the internal stopcock. As a result, I currently have no water, hot water or heating in the property.<br><br>What is particularly disappointing is the lack of urgency and communication. An inspection was also carried out around a month ago, with several issues identified and uploaded to my online account. Despite this, I have received no follow-up and nobody has attended to address those issues.<br><br>I have repeatedly reported problems and tried to be patient, but I feel that I am constantly having to chase the letting agent, landlord and builder to get basic maintenance and safety issues dealt with.<br><br>I appreciate that repairs can sometimes take time, but there is a significant difference between a repair taking time and repeatedly having to chase unresolved problems for months, particularly when they involve water leaks, electrical concerns and loss of essential services.<br><br>The whole situation has caused me a huge amount of unnecessary stress and has significantly affected my experience of living in the property. I would simply expect maintenance issues to be taken seriously, communicated properly and dealt with within a reasonable timeframe.<br><br>I am extremely disappointed with my experience so far and would not currently recommend Nexa South Wales based on the way my tenancy and ongoing maintenance issues have been handled.

Selling a property can be incredibly stressful, especially when things don’t always go to plan, but Claire was always there to help, chase things up and keep me updated.<br><br>I really appreciated how approachable, friendly and supportive everyone was throughout the whole process. I never felt like I was just another customer, and it was clear that they genuinely cared about getting the sale completed.<br><br>Thank you so much to Claire and the whole team for all your patience, hard work and support. I really appreciate everything you did to help get me over the finish line. I couldn’t be happier to finally have the sale completed!<br><br>Would absolutely recommend them. ??

He has always been happy to help with any questions, offer advice and provide support whenever needed. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and his friendly, professional approach has made the whole experience so much easier. We couldn’t have asked for better service and would highly recommend Rob to anyone looking to sell their property.

They kept me informed every step of the way regarding viewings, offers and sale. Overall they were first class.

This office demonstrates a lethal lack of competency regarding mandatory housing laws, leaving tenants in properties with severe, illegal safety hazards. By completely ignoring fundamental statutory regulations, they actively endanger human lives while exposing their landlord clients to massive legal fines, criminal liability, and Rent Smart Wales license revocations. Full evidence has been submitted to Rent Smart Wales and Rhondda Cynon Taf Environmental Health for formal investigation. Do not trust this agency with your property or your life—they are a public danger.
