I have dealt with Mike Taylor, Sue and Hannah for many years and have always found them to be helpful and offered sensible advice. Over the recent sale of my flat they were proactive and informative.
This Lettings agency is the worst I have ever come across. My lettings Fees were 500 pound, and my deposit 1000 pound but I got a rude, angry, disrespectful welcome. Great for moving in day!
In addition, I was told the landlord wanted to sell the property, fair enough, I was happy to let the flat be viewed as regularly as they wanted only to receive an email that I tidy my private bathroom for future viewings (abrupt non friendly email)
Also, didn't get notice any notice of one of the viewings, but they tried to cover it up, suggesting that I had. I called them out on it......they admitted it.
Landlords do yourself a favour. Avoid these guys and if you're a tenant.....run a mile!

This is an excellent, thoroughly professional company which I wholeheartedly recommend. I required the services of a lettings agency for the first time this year and had a poor and very stressful experience with another agency before switching to Taylors. From the outset, their approach was reassuring and they communicated regularly and professionally throughout. Their marketing/reach is excellent and it took a matter of days to arrange a very good and suitable tenancy for my flat.
I have full confidence in Taylors and will certainly be using their services again in the future.

Started renting with Umbrella from July 2016 until June 2018. Extremely rude and unhelpful for the whole duration of my time living at the property. Hob was broken on arrival to the property and they tried to claim that our housemates and I had broken the hob, despite it already being broken when we arrived. On top of this, we had no hot water in the property. Neither the hot water, nor the hob were fixed until mid-September, leaving the property in a very poor state to live in for 2 and a half months. Everyone working at Umbrella was extremely rude and unhelpful and didn’t want to know about the house being in disrepair.
At the end of November 2017, our oven in the property broke. Once again, Umbrella took zero interest in fixing the problem and were rude. It took over 2 weeks for a replacement oven to be fitted.
Finally, at the end of renting the property, the Umbrella finance team took a long time to assess the property and come back with their final inventory. This was made even more frustrating because they were so difficult to contact and would not reply to emails. When the inventory did come back, they had charged me for missing rent that I had already paid which then took another week to rectify.
Overall, very, very disappointed with the way Umbrella treated us as tenants and how they treated the property. They took an extremely long time to fix cooking appliances and the hot water, making the property virtually unliveable at some points, and then trying to push blame onto the tenants despite us having video and photographic evidence that we had not been the cause of these issues. The only redeeming point was that the landlord himself was fantastic. Really friendly and helpful. It’s just a shame that he lets his property(s) through such an unhelpful, rude and useless letting agent.
Stay well away from Umbrella.
Well, where to start... a simply amazing estate agency that has provided what I can only say is a real FIVE STAR SERVICE! I will be recommending David's Homes to friends, family and anyone looking for an honest and genuinely caring Estate Agency.
If you do use this company ask for proof that your deposit is put into a Tenancy Deposit Scheme - as required by law since 2007.
David Matthews of David's Homes was previously linked with South Wales Estates and unfortunately my experience was not a good one because the deposit I paid on my daughter's flat was not placed in a deposit scheme. So as that company ceased trading I have lost my £485 and cannot take action against David's Homes, the new company owned by David Matthews.

We successfully booked a viewing one day in advance, but they cancelled our viewing 15 minutes before the viewing and told us the property we booked is not allowed to rent to students. We were on the train and almost got there. The way they doing business is really unprofessional.
