They were very professional, efficient and slick which helped the transaction complete on time. I've been involved in property for over 20 years and would highly recommend the team at Your Move as they are extremely diligent.

17th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)I resent giving 1 star but you have to press on a star to get the point of being able to write something. This agency does not operate on the basis of managing and looking after your properties. They will quickly fill your property with the worst type of tenant and take no responsibility when it all fails. They take days to provide feedback, if at all. There is no transparency and when they do engage on your feedback about poor service generally it’s a list of excuses and no action. There is a sprinkling of good people among them who work hard and I have no doubt that the only reason the lights are on. Very very poor. If you are a landlord and need property managed - Stay away at all costs.

Most recently, our solicitor Susan Oates managed our sale and purchase transactions with great professionalism, managing to negotiate a rather complex missives agreement ahead of our planned completion date, while keeping us informed and updated at all times. The excellent service has continued after the sale was completed while we closed out a number of material issues with our property. I would be happy to recommend McDougall McQueen and consider their services to provide excellent value for money and help to take the stress out of a house move.
12th Feb 2024 (9 weeks ago)We used S&P successfully 7 years ago to sell our previous flat so decided to use them again. David Law was professional, engaging, and has excellent local knowledge. He was also realistic which we found most reassuring. We were then introduced to Ian Ely-Corbett who went out of his way to make the process of selling our home stress free and run as smoothly as possible. He was easy to contact by email or phone or text. We would highly recommend them to anyone wishing to sell their property. What made the difference was S&P’s personal service and attention to detail.
3rd Nov 2023 (24 weeks ago)(While the company did finally provide compensation, it's important to note that I still experienced a significant opportunity cost as a result of their actions.) It has undeniably been the most regrettable experience of my lifetime, dealing with a solicitor team that exhibited a severe lack of professionalism and courtesy. Initially, I placed my trust in them based on their positive Google reviews, which now appear to be misleading and have led to significant frustration and inconvenience on my part. The solicitor in question was Shari, who astonishingly took a full year to complete the anti-money laundering check, despite my having submitted all required documents promptly. To compound matters, she repeatedly requested the same information, leading to redundant submissions. Regrettably, she ceased all communication, failing to respond to both my emails and those from the seller's side. My attempts to reach her went unanswered for two months until she seemingly disappeared without a trace. I was dismayed to find myself in such a predicament. In desperation, I enlisted the assistance of the estate agent, who contacted Joni, the National Head of Conveyancing. However, this interaction proved to be equally disheartening, as Joni not only displayed a lack of professionalism but also declined to provide any insight into the unilateral breach of contract, responding in a profane manner. I strongly advise against engaging with this company. As a result of their inefficiency, my funds remained in limbo within my bank account, as I had initially believed they could promptly resolve their business matters. Consequently, I have incurred substantial financial losses due to the failure of Simpson & Marwick to deliver on their commitments.

Hazel and Iona were so great and were all over it, really make you feel like you are the only client they have. Would absolutely recommend!

Cameron was hugely professional, communicative, supportive and kept us informed throughout the sales process. I have no hesitation in recommending Savills, based on our experience with Cameron alone.

13th Nov 2023 (22 weeks ago)Upon moving out, I repeatedly contacted them to release my deposit. Unfortunately, even after a month has passed, my deposit remains unreleased. Following persistent follow-ups, they informed me that they had hired a "sparkle clean" service and would be sending me an invoice for the cleaning expenses. Ironically, I had already hired a professional cleaner to ensure the property was left in impeccable condition before my departure. The house was in a cleaner state than when I first moved in. It is disheartening to note that despite my efforts and the clear state of the property, they continue to withhold my deposit. Their reluctance to return the deposit, coupled with their evasive actions, strongly suggests unethical practices. They are absolute scammers, and I strongly advise others to avoid engaging with them at any cost.

The brochure they produced was fantastic and the whole process was managed for us, which took all the stress of selling away. Greig was great at keeping us up to date with viewings and overall we had a great experience. I would recommend and will be using again in the future. Thankyou
24th Mar 2024 (25 days ago)What an amazing service from start to finish from both Jennifer, Andrew and Janice. For anyone who wants a simple, and efficient estate agent look no further. Our house went up on the market the week of Christmas when most estate agents close. Not Avenue Road. They made sure that everything still processed as normal and our house went up within days to ensure we were able to reserve our new home. The whole process was easy with them and made it very simple and straight forward for us. Andrew was always on hand for us regarding any viewings and interest. Jennifer was giving us regular updates and keeping us in the loop. One thing I would say which stands them out from the crowd is they are always on hand. For example we had a request at 10pm on a Saturday night for a viewing which we were delighted about. Within minutes we had it booked. You won’t get that 24/7 service anywhere else. At the very start we had a few estate agents come to negotiate with us but felt like a number with them and just another tick box. With Jennifer and Andrew we were a family looking to sell and move to our forever home and they wanted it for us. I could go on and on about how amazing they were and so grateful for them. I have recommended them to everyone I know and will continue to do so. Thank you again and always welcome for a cuppa in our new home.

We only had a month before entry date on our property and Laura was extremely efficient and got all the paperwork done with minimal hassle.
